🕊️ Remembering Our Past Heroes — Oguta Chieftaincy Settlement
A powerful piece of Oguta history reminds us of the importance of peace, unity, dialogue and progress.
The historic photograph captures the final meeting connected with the Oguta Chieftaincy Dispute settlement, following the successful mediation by the East Central State Government on February 2, 1975, known as the Asika Accord, involving Okororie Oyibo and his team.
These men and women played important roles in bringing peace and understanding among the communities of Oguta. Their story reminds us that our history is not just about the past—it is a foundation for the future we are building together.
