🚨 Not All Fever is Malaria!

Feeling feverish? Don’t assume - get tested first.

This important message from the Lagos State Ministry of Health highlights why you should never self-medicate when you have symptoms like:
👉🏽 Weakness
👉🏽 Body pain
👉🏽 Fever

💡 What should you do first?
Visit a nearby health facility or chemist and ask for a Malaria Rapid Diagnostic Test (RDT).

❗ If the test is negative, your fever could be caused by other serious infections such as Flu, COVID-19, or Lassa Fever.

🏥 Remember: Lagos State policy is “Test Before Treatment.”
Taking malaria drugs without testing can delay proper diagnosis and put your life at risk.
