Audu Abdulfatah Leco finally tender unreserved apology for his outburst and lamentation recently after obeying instructions from family and well whispers.
His statement read:
I wish this medium to appreciate my team, my well wishers and most importantly, my family who has always stood by me to make sure my guidance is not wiped away by the contemporary precarious and disdainful pattern of abuse of human rights and social-cultural decadence.
Additionally, thank you, Imam Abdulmumeen Sufi for the wisdom, messages, and the love.
I took off my first apology message because it was made out of compulsion from my family. They said I must apologise immediately and take off my posts, and I did exactly that. But after I went back to the content of my apology, I told myself that my apology wasn't educative enough. I have to separate grains from chaff.
Firstly,
It's worthy to not that I am not a member of any Islamic sect, except You have never met me in person because, merely looking at my usual fashion sense, you will testify that I am not qualified to be tagged to the almighty Ahalisunna sect as many of you presumed. I am too filty, too unrefined, too undefined, too underdefind to be tagged one. This, you all know, but because you all feel no one who is of you will ever criticised your blocking of road network constructed by our collective tax, you decided to attach me to a group just so as to make your pot of porridge delicious.
Almighty Allah has created these divisions in colours, genders, beliefs and in many other folds and layers then, why would I want to fight you because you probably don't believe in what I believe in (Assuming your thoughts are legitimate).
I was only fighting for social justice and not hatred for any sect. I have joined my voice with many others here to say, "Stop restricting movement of none Muslims on jumat days, stop restricting movement of none umekus on Eku days, But I forgot that any dance step in Ebiraland is either attached to a clan, a political party, or a religious body.
I saw many of you who mentioned some high-profile people who block roads for rallies or selfish interest, and I smiled. Possibly, you don't understand what I mean by followers are who they are because of who their leaders are in my first write-up.
To the tijaniyya group of Ebiraland, I don't possess any iota of hatred toward a single soul in your mist. Many of those who have impacted so much in my early life are tradeable to the Tijaniyya sect. My earlier use of "stupidity" to describe the restrictions of movement was not out of prejudice, it wasn't about Moulud, I won't even use it for the Omekus if they don't abuse others right talkmore of a fellow Muslim. It was birthed out of lack of respect for the constitution that stated that there shouldn't be arbitrary blockage of road. I am sorry for the use of such a word "stupidity" and entirely the manner in which I conveyed my message. This is not to say that the blocking of roads is upright. Stop Blocking Roads. It's morally, socially, and religiously not the right thing to do.
Thanks. I love you all, my Tijaniyya friends, sisters, and brothers. No hard feelings.
Jumat Mubarak.
