The Presidency has debunked claims that the U.S. visa policy toward Nigeria is based on reciprocity, stating Nigeria still grants U.S. citizens 5-year multiple-entry visas.

A statement by Bayo Onanuga clarified that the 90-day single-entry visa applies only to Nigeria’s new e-visa, which replaces the old visa-on-arrival to curb extortion and boost trade, investment, and tourism.

The Federal Government has confirmed that former President Muhammadu Buhari's remains will arrive in Katsina on Tuesday, July 15 at 12PM for burial in Daura by 3PM.

President Tinubu will personally receive the body, with a military ceremony and Islamic funeral to follow. A high-level Inter-Ministerial Committee, chaired by SGF George Akume, is coordinating the state burial.
