*AKOKO SOUTH EAST LOCAL GOVERNMENT CONGRATULATES MUSLIM UMMAH ON EID AL-ADHA*
Onbehalf of the good People of Akoko South East local government, the Executive Chairman, Hon. Engr Omolehin Jude Ayegbo extends warm felicitations to the Muslim Ummah within the Local Government and across Ondo State on the occasion of Eid-Kabir al-Adha.
Eid al-Adha stands as a profound reminder of the values of sacrifice, obedience, faith, and submission to the will of Almighty Allah, as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (AS). These timeless principles continue to inspire acts of devotion, selflessness, and service to humanity.
This sacred celebration offers an opportunity for reflection, gratitude, and spiritual renewal. It calls on all to embrace compassion, generosity, and solidarity with one another, particularly with the less privileged in our communities.
The Council Boss urges residents to observe the festivities in an atmosphere of peace, orderliness, and mutual respect. The preservation of harmony and peaceful coexistence remains central to the progress and stability of Akoko South East Local Government Area.
We also use this occasion to reaffirm our commitment to the welfare, security, and unity of all residents, irrespective of faith or background. The Administration remains dedicated to fostering an environment where every citizen can thrive in peace and dignity.
On this auspicious day, we offer prayers for acceptance of sacrifices and supplications, for enduring peace within our communities, and for continued prosperity and guidance for our Local Government, our State, and the nation at large.
May Almighty Allah bless the Muslim Ummah with joy, good health, and barakah during this Eid al-Adha, and may the spirit of the season strengthen the bonds of unity that bind us together as one people.
