In this part of the world – and indeed beyond – political actors often wield propaganda as a cunning tool to hoodwink the public, seeking to curry favor and secure electoral loyalty.

These propaganda tools include, but are not limited to: exaggerated self-praise, intentional misinformation, deceptive advertising, slanderous political statements, and outright distortion of reality. Such tactics are deployed mostly to cover up deficits in performance or character.

Those who have closely observed the political trajectory of Hon. (Barr.) Donald Okogbe can firmly attest to his do-before-talking philosophy and a deliberate zero-propaganda approach. He stands apart from the crowd by believing in silent, consistent work over empty, cosmetic gestures.

In recent times, Okogbe has quietly transformed his constituency into a construction zone—with zero noise.

From the gigantic multipurpose hall rising in Ikpeshi to the first-ever Secondary School block in Egbigere 1, the evidence of his performance is visible everywhere. The Comprehensive School in Igarra has also benefitted from his infrastructural drive, just as the people of Ososo enjoy solar-powered streetlights and a new block of classrooms at Ososo Comprehensive College.

And these are just a few examples; other communities in his constituency are already set to feel the Okogbe-Wonders!

In an era where many politicians talk more than they deliver, Hon. Donald Okogbe stands out as an uncommon leader who does more and says less.

This young man deserves the unwavering support and encouragement of his constituents.

Akoko Edo leaders please tell Sen Monday Okpebholo and Edo State Government of Nigeria the extent of work needed on Auchi-Ibillo road. It's not just palliative work, massive work is needed. No be patch patch oooh. Let the State Government award the contract to a reputable company. If not, hmmm.
