Where many of our parents got it wrong...

One thing I have observed is this: many wealthy families don't just leave money for their children—they leave knowledge, exposure, and connections.

They take their children to business meetings, conferences, networking events, and even on business trips. They allow them to sit in rooms where decisions are made. They teach them how money is created, how businesses are managed, and how relationships open doors.

Look at families like Dangote, Otedola, the Adelekes, and many other successful entrepreneurs. Their children grow up seeing business firsthand. They are being prepared for leadership long before they inherit anything.

Sadly, many of us had a different experience. Some of us were taken to prayer meetings and night vigils much more often than we were taught practical life skills, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, or how to build wealth.

Prayer is important—I believe in prayer. But prayer should go hand in hand with knowledge, wisdom, skill, and exposure.

A child should be taught how to pray and how to think.
How to trust God and how to build value.
How to fight spiritual battles and how to solve real-life problems.

Let's raise a generation that is spiritually grounded, financially educated, and practically equipped for the future.

Our children deserve both faith and knowledge. One should never replace the other.

This week, I choose faith over fear and peace over worry. I am strong, capable, and filled with God's wisdom. Every step I take is ordered by the Lord, and every door meant for me will open at the right time.

I declare that this week brings favor, divine opportunities, financial blessings, good health, joy, and unexpected testimonies. I will not be discouraged by challenges because I know God is working everything together for my good.

I am blessed. I am protected. I am loved. I am enough. My efforts will produce positive results, and I will celebrate victories instead of setbacks.

This is my week of progress, restoration, and answered prayers. I receive grace to overcome every obstacle and strength to keep moving forward.
