One whole year of you… one whole year of love, laughter, beautiful memories, and countless reasons to thank God. 🥹❤️ It feels like just yesterday we welcomed you into our arms, and today, we’re celebrating the beautiful little girl you’ve become.

You have brought a kind of joy into our lives that words can never fully explain. Watching you grow, learn, smile, and discover the world has been one of the greatest blessings of our lives.

The third trimester can be exciting, but honestly, it can also be uncomfortable! Here are a few things many women experience:

😴 Sleep can become difficult — finding a comfortable position with a big belly isn’t always easy.

🔥 Heartburn may increase — the growing baby and hormonal changes can make acid reflux worse.

🚽 You may p*e much more often — the growing uterus can put pressure on your bladder.

🦵🏾 Leg cramps and body aches can become more noticeable, especially at night.

😮‍💨 You may get tired easily — even simple activities can suddenly feel like hard work.

❤️ Your emotions may change — excitement, anxiety, impatience and fear about delivery can all happen.

And then there is the part nobody warns you about: you may be completely ready to meet your baby but still feel nervous about what comes next. That’s normal too.

🚨 If you experience heavy bleeding, severe abdominal pain, severe headache or vision changes, leaking fluid, or a significant decrease in your baby’s movements, contact your maternity provider promptly.

Heartburn is very common during pregnancy. Hormonal changes can relax the muscle that normally keeps stomach acid down, while the growing baby can put pressure on your stomach.

To reduce heartburn:
• Eat smaller meals more often.
• Avoid lying down immediately after eating.
• Reduce foods that trigger your symptoms, especially spicy, fatty or fried foods.
• Sleep with your upper body slightly elevated.
• Speak with your doctor or midwife about pregnancy-safe medication if it’s persistent.

🚨 If you have severe chest pain, difficulty breathing, vomiting blood, black stools, or unusual severe symptoms, seek medical attention.
