A teacher corrects a child, disciplines where necessary, and instead of support, the next thing you see is a parent storming into the school—angry, confrontational, and ready to harass the same person helping to shape that child’s future.

Is this how far we have come?

Discipline is not hatred. Correction is not abuse. Teachers are not enemies.

When a child sees their parent constantly defend them—even when they are wrong—it sends a dangerous message: *‘You are never accountable for your actions.’*

And that is how character begins to break down.

Schools and parents are meant to be partners, not opponents. The goal is the same—to raise responsible, respectful, and well-grounded children.

Let’s not tear down the system meant to build our children. Let’s work together, ask questions calmly, and correct with wisdom.

Because at the end of the day, the child is watching… and learning.”
