5 Content Types Every Brand Needs to Post in 2025
If your content isn't talking, teaching, twisting, or telling the truth... you're just vibing with no results.
So pull your chair closer, grab your pen and your notebook—Class is about to begin.
– Professor Fay’s Content School 😂
Lesson 1: BTS (Behind the Scenes) — The Real Real
What it is all about:
It’s the messy desk. The bloopers. The "We forgot to charge the ring light again" moments.
It is the Unfiltered moments that is Relatable and Real.
In 2025, People don’t just buy the product; they buy the process. Show us the late-night edits, the failed attempts, or even your messy background. Let your audience feel like part of the crew— because real wins trust .
Show how the work gets done.
Post Idea:
"Before the glossy product photo, there was this… [insert chaotic studio shot with a caption like “Don’t zoom in 😂 "
Why it works:
People are tired of perfect. Show them process, not just polish.
Class activity:
Post a raw behind-the-scenes clip and title it “What you don’t see before we post.”
Bonus marks for showing chaos 😂
Lesson 2: Customer POV — The “Main Character Energy” Shift.
What it is all about:
This is where you stop being the hero. Your customer starts being the star of the show.
This is where the audience begins to tell the story
Their reviews, their reactions and testimonials do the talking. Real people, real results.
In this era , User-generated content hits different when it tells a story.
So Flip the camera. Show your product or service in action — not in your hands, but in your customer's hands. Let your customers be the heroes of your story.
Post Idea:
POV: You just found the one thing that fixed your long overdue problem
Why it works:
Trust is built when people see people like them winning.
Class activity:
Ask a customer to share their honest experience or recreate their journey using your product/service.
Caption it:
“POV: You just discovered your new favorite [insert your niche]”
Lesson 3: Micro Education — Teach it in 30 Seconds or Less
What it is all about:
It's all about teaching but keeping it tight . People want to learn fast. Drop a gem and disappear.
Give quick how-tos, myths vs facts, hacks, or a “Did you know?” that hooks within 2 seconds. Teach it like you're dropping cheat codes.
Drop value
Why it works:
The brain LOVES quick dopamine. If you can teach me something useful in less than 60 seconds, you win.
Class activity:
Create a post starting with “Most people don’t know this but…” or
“Here’s one tip that changed how I [do X]”
Then drop that gem. Don’t hoard knowledge in 2025.
Lesson 4: Trend + Twist — Copy the Format, Remix the Message.
What it is all about:
This is where you take the trending sound, meme, or skit… but flip it to fit your voice.
Everyone is dancing. What is your brand saying?— Your voice is the edge .
Ride the waves, don't drown in it .
Why it works:
Trends make people stop. Twists make people remember.
Post idea:
[Trending sound] + “When a customer says: ‘Do you do discounts?’”
(cue dramatic zoom + sarcastic grin)
Class activity:
Find a trending sound today. Rework it with your brand story, product, or message.
Caption:
“This trend, but make it [your niche] ”
Lesson 5: Founder's Voice/Team POV — The Heartbeat Content
What it is all about:
This is where you show the face/ faces behind the brand.
Founders, team members, interns, etc — let them talk! Share lessons, rants, values, bloopers, morning routines. It builds trust + personality.
Speak, share be seen. People follow people
This is stuff that makes people say “Aww, I love this brand. They feel human"
Why it works:
People follow people, not logos. Your voice is your value.
Class activity:
Film a short clip sharing something personal:
A win
A challenge
A lesson
A “this-is-why-we-do-what-we-do” post
No filters. No fluff. Just real talk.
Caption:
“This isn’t a pitch. This is a piece of our story.”
🎤 HOMEWORK:
Pick one of these content types.
Post it this week.
Tag it (optional 😉)
I want to see you win
I'm rooting for you 💪
