Hello.

Good morning.

Follow me through the bible.

In verse 6 of matthew chapter 2.

This place made me know how God makes big things out of nothing.

Is not Bethlehem the lest among the tribe of Judah, for from there came a ruler.

Not even a mere ruler, but the king of the whole wide world.

I want to encourage you with this passage of the bible.

Whatever you are doing now, don't see it as nothing.

No matter how little it is.

No matter how insignificant it looks.

God makes big things out of the small things.

He makes significant things from insignificant ones.

He is working in those things to bring out something big.

Don't ever lose hope.

No matter how little it is, He can make it big.

Trust Him!

WHAT DO YOU WATCH?

I so much struggled with watching circular movies as a child of God.

I was so addicted to it, that I could watch and forget not to read my Bible.

It took all my time then.

I would use my lunch money to go and get them.

Should I talk about Korean movies? I loved it then so much.

But when I wanted to get serious with my spiritual life, I knew I needed to stop.

It was hard.

I tried many times but kept losing.

I would pack them then, and throw them away, but later go buy them with my money.

I would break them and would decide never again, but I still found myself doing it again.

I would cry, pray, talk to God about it.

I met people for counseling.

I was like a poor girl desperately in need of help.

Always falling back to it each time I decided never to watch it again.

I waited many times for that to leave me.

Those days, I would engage in long hours of prayer, and after edifying my spirit man I will return to watch again.

I do just go empty after watching.

But then, Jesus came and took it away from me.

Dear child of God, if you must always be alert to hear from God, you must stop distractions.

Constant watching of these movies that don't edify the spirit man will keep you low.

Your mind will be full of it's activities that you won't have time for God.

It will intoxicate you and shift your mind totally from God.

Be very intentional with what you watch.

If it doesn't edify the spirit man you shouldn't be watching it.

Note: I am not here to paint circular movies bad, only to share my experience.

There was this day I planned to pray.

I have set out my time that this day I will have long hours of prayer.

But then, I became sick. So sick that I couldn't walk or do much work the week I was to pray.

The day before that I was so tired and weak. I lay throughout.

But when it was the day, I concluded in my mind that I wasn't going to do it.

There was no strength in me, so I decided to postpone it.

But as I lay down, I thought to myself, why not tell the Holy Spirit to give you strength? He can strengthen your spirit man and make your flesh do it.

I quickly bowed my head and told him that.

In my words" Holy Spirit, you know down within me that I want to pray. Pls, help, strengthen me.

I sat up and began to pray slowly.

Men and brethren, that was how I ended up tarrying for 2hrs and with serious effectiveness.

I prayed like I wasn't sick.

I forgot about the sickness until I was done praying.

Then I remembered the Bible said, He prayeth through us.

I discovered that most times, prayer becomes hard when we think it's what we can do.

We find it difficult when we don't allow the spirit to pray in us and through us.

For we know not what to pray as we ought to.

Let's always acknowledge the Holy Spirit and allow him to pray through us.

That way, we won't find it difficult to practice the act.

Ask him to help whenever you are weak.

Invite him anytime you want to pray.

He is the father's promise given.

He is our helper.

He was sent to assist us as pilgrims.

Do you know why you sleep and wake up with a strange stretch mark on your body?

It's because you don't pray.

Do you sleep and have some dirty dreams?

You don't engage the heavenly host at night.

You sleep and wake up with bad dreams wondering why this keeps happening to you.

You are not a prayerful Christian.

When you start praying it ceases to occur.

Light and darkness have nothing in common.

IT WILL BE IF GOD WANTS IT.
Yesterday I read a place in the Bible, it was Paul writing to the Romans.

He so much wanted to visit them, but then many things came in between hindering him from visiting them.

He told them how he longed to see them but could not for some reason, but then he said something that stayed in me.

In his words" I pray that I will be allowed to come to you, but it will happen if God wants it.

I pursued and meditated on that word.

Paul knew that whatever God has ordained to be must be irrespective of the obstacles, delays, and hindrances stopping it.

And I draw my strength from that word as I wait patiently on him.

This is me also telling you to wait.

If He has said it, it will be.

If He has ordained it, it will definitely be.

If He has promised you anything, it will come to pass.

He has the will and the ability to do it.

Just like Paul, let's trust him knowing fully well that He is the most supreme God.

Delay is never denial.

I learned something recently and I have been practicing it for some time now.

I have my alone time with God at night, that's when I pray, listen to messages, tell him my needs, edify my spirit man, read my Bible, listen to worship, and do many other spiritual activities as the spirit leads.

I also say my morning prayers every morning once I wake up.

But then I have learned to say a word of prayer whenever I want to go out.

I tell God how my day will be, and what I want and I plead the blood of Jesus on me.

I also sometimes pray he leads me not into temptation.

This practice has helped me talk to God more often and I'm more aware of his presence with me.

Let's put our all into maintaining a consistent life of communication with God.

Read my story👇

I do have a set time of devotion and prayer every day. Recently reset my alarm to suit my time, but forgot to make it ring every day.

It rang for a few days and didn't ring the next day which made me skip my prayer time.

I woke up sad because I missed my time.

Picked up my phone and reset the alarm so it rings every day.

And I made sure to pray each time it was time.

In as much as praying long is good, I now concentrate on praying every day rather than praying long but skipping days.

30mins - 1hr prayer each day, making sure I am not skipping a day is what I do now.

Focusing mainly on consistency.

It is God this year or nothing, I have vowed to walk with him this year.

MAKING GOD OUR PRIORITY THIS YEAR.

Making God our priority should be one of our goals for this year.

Most of us have so much gotten into activities with the notion that we are into God's assignment without knowing that this thing took us away from his presence last year.

We so want to do many things for God forgetting that our relationship with him is the most important one.

This might be the reason for most of the setbacks last year.

We can't manage well what he has given to us if we place those things ahead of him in our lives.

The depth of our relationship with him determines the speed with which we will run with what he has placed in our hands.

Aside from the goals you already heard for this year, intentionally don't allow those things to take God's place in your life.

Never put this thing before Him.

Allow the relationship to grow and watch yourself soar.

Who? Who? Who?

Let me tell you this, the earlier you start praying for yourself the better for you.

Don't think things happen by coincidence, ( that is deception ).

Until you face those wars and fight to finish, that challenge will still stand there to question your salvation.

The only place you can't be defeated is the place of prayer.

No matter how long it has stayed don't ever stop until you see a change.

Fall and rise, but then never give up.

Never settle for less.

Face it with everything in you and push.

Push till it leaves your way.

Sometimes you shouldn't stop being angry over a thing until you see a change.

Be tired of it, hate it, tell it to leave, desire change, prayerfully pull it out. ( the warrior woman. ).
