"Some believe influence, hierarchy, or wealth will shield them. Some act without remorse, confident intimidation erases consequences. But power is not immunity. When abuse is proven, those responsible must be held accountable — not out of revenge, but because unchecked misconduct becomes policy. What is tolerated today becomes normal tomorrow. Silence protects the next victim.

"An employee who demands accountability is not bitter. They are responsible. They are drawing a line. They are refusing to allow abuse of power to be quietly recycled onto the next worker. Injustice to one is a threat everywhere."

📽️ MAZI NNAMDI KANU: ONITSHA MARKET, MONDAY SIT-AT-HOME, AND VOICE OF THE PEOPLE🕊️

👀 Watch 📽️ closely😳: The video does not just show a market. It shows a movement, a message, and a people speaking in their own way.🎙️🎙️🎙️

This video captures a tense and revealing moment in Onitsha Market, Anambra State, following a statement by Governor Chukwuma Soludo. The Governor warned traders that if they failed to open their shops on Monday, the market would be shut down for one week as a punitive measure.
However, what unfolded on the ground tells a different story.

Instead of traders rushing to open their shops out of fear, people gathered and openly expressed solidarity with Nnamdi Kanu, the detained leader of IPOB. In the video, voices can be heard singing and chanting, referring to Nnamdi Kanu as “holy, holy” and “another saviour.” This reaction is not about commerce, but about conviction.

The scene clearly shows that the sit-at-home observed on Monday is not merely an act of economic disruption or coercion, but a symbolic protest and a show of solidarity with Nnamdi Kanu. Despite threats of market closure, many traders chose to stand with what they believe represents justice, identity, and resistance.

The people’s response highlights a deeper issue: governance by force versus governance by consent. When citizens are willing to endure economic loss rather than abandon a cause they believe in, it signals a disconnect between state authority and public sentiment.

This video is a reminder that policies and threats alone cannot override deeply held beliefs. The voice of the people in Onitsha Market is clear: the sit-at-home is a political statement of solidarity, not simply a refusal to trade.
