Anchor Publishers begins operation in Anambra
The management and staff of Anchor Media & Technologies Nigeria Limited has announced the opening of her Anambra office. The event which took place on Wednesday 17th January, 2018 at the office complex had in attendance dignitaries in business and academia.
Declaring the place open, Rev Fr. Noel C. Ugoagwu, MSP prayed God to bless and make the publishing house a fertile soil for academic growth and knowledge in Nigeria and the rest of Africa.
The president of Anchor Book Foundation Africa and the CEO of Anchor Publishers and Media Ltd, Anselm C. Onuorah, in his remark thanked the guests for gracing the occasion. He noted that the publishing house is a statement of Anchor Book Foundation’s commitment to the promotion of academic excellence in Africa and beyond . He assured guests that the management and staff of the company will remain focused and progressive to standout in meeting the yearnings of young African writers in getting their works to the global audience and rejuvenating Africa's untold stories by giving Africa a voice in the publishing industry.
The company will publish, among others things, short stories, films and opera, memoirs, biographies, business diaries, fiction and non-fictions. It will also through its online handles promote African lives and cultures.
The office is located at No 15 College Road, Abata Nsugbe, opposite Second Gate of Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe, Anambra State.
