*The Cry of Christ’s Heart: Are We Listening Today?*









When Adam and Eve disobeyed God (Genesis 3), man lost his freedom and dominion (Genesis 1:26–28). Satan claimed ownership of the kingdoms of this world (Luke 4:5–6), keeping humanity in slavery to sin, sickness, fear, and lies.

But out of love, God sent His Son. Through His passion and death, Jesus paid our debt, disarmed Satan (Colossians 2:14–15), and restored us as children of God (John 1:12), co-heirs with Christ (Romans 8:17), a kingdom of priests destined to reign (Revelation 5:10).

Yet, many still reject His love. That is why in the 17th century, precisely
between 1673–1675, Jesus revealed His Sacred Heart to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque during Eucharistic adoration. His Heart burned with love but was wounded by mankind’s indifference. He said:

“Behold this Heart which has so loved men, that It has spared nothing, even to exhausting and consuming Itself, in order to testify Its love. And in return I receive from the greater part only ingratitude, by their irreverence and sacrileges, and by the coldness and contempt they have for Me in this Sacrament of Love", that is the Eucharist, the symbol of Christ's love intstituted at the last supper. So Jesus simply showed Margaret Mary His Sacred, (sinless) Heart burning with love for humanity, and was wounded by indifference, ingratitude, and sin.

The Eucharist is the greatest gift of love, yet often met with neglect.

The question is: How do you personally return Christ’s love today?

Is it through prayer?, adoration to Him in the Eucharist?, receiving Him in the satate of grace?, seeking his presence?, service?, act of reparation?, or love and kindness?
