What would you do if your best friend of 14 years left you out of her bridal party but still expected you to help plan her wedding? Would you let it go or quietly distance yourself?

MY HUSBAND SENT $7,000 TO HELP MY SICK FATHER, BUT NOW HE WANTS IT BACK. AM I WRONG TO BE UPSET?

My father was seriously ill and needed surgery. The hospital requested $7,000 to cover the surgery and hospital bills, and my husband sent the money to my bank account so I could arrange everything.
My husband has always been the one supporting my family financially because I am my parents' only child. Whenever my father or mother needed help, he was usually the person I turned to.
Sadly, two days ago, we received a phone call informing us that my father had passed away before the surgery could take place.
I was completely heartbroken. Losing my father was painful enough, and I was still trying to process what had happened when my husband asked me to transfer the $7,000 back to his account.
He said that since my father had passed away and the surgery was no longer going to happen, he needed his money returned.
I understand that the money belongs to my husband, and I know he worked hard for it. However, I am still grieving my father, and hearing him ask for the money back at such a difficult moment has left me feeling hurt and confused.
Part of me believes he has every right to ask for his money because the surgery never took place. Another part of me wishes he would give me some time to mourn before bringing up the money.
Now I am wondering whether I am being too emotional or whether my husband should have handled the situation differently.

Am I wrong for giving my husband an ultimatum that it's either me or his family?

MY HUSBAND LEFT ME AND MARRIED ANOTHER WOMAN AFTER 8 YEARS OF MARRIAGE.
My husband and I have been married for 8 years, and we have four children together. I always believed we were building a future as a family, but everything changed when he left me and married another woman.
What hurts me the most is what he told me. He said I was no longer his type and that I was too old to be his wife.
I couldn't believe that the man I had spent eight years with, the father of my four children, could suddenly make me feel as though I was no longer good enough for him.
I understand that people's feelings can change, but does that mean the years we spent together and the family we built no longer matter?
Please advise her.

My husband passed away just two days ago, and his family is already fighting me over his belongings and the money he left behind.

I am a mother of four children, and I am still trying to come to terms with losing my husband. Before I could even begin to process my grief, his siblings started demanding everything that belonged to him, including the $8,000 he had in his bank account.
I was shocked. I understand that they are his family, but I am his wife, and we have four children together who still depend on their father, even though he is no longer here.
I never imagined that I would have to fíght for my children's future while m0urning the man I loved. Instead of supporting us during this difficult time, his siblings are making me feel as though my children and I have no right to what their father left behind.
I don't want unnecessary family confliçt, but I also don't want my children to suffer because their father has passed away.

Am I wrong for refusing to let my husband's siblings take everything he left behind, including the $8,000 in his bank account? Or do they have a right to claim his belongings because they are his blood relatives?

Am I wrong for asking my wife to add me to a
property she inherited before we got
married?

We've been married for 4years and
before we met, she was married to her late
husband for over 15years. When he passed, she
inherited a lakefront property that was in his
family for generations. The property is now
used as a vacation center that brings a
decent income every year. Since getting
married I've spent weekends fixing things,
mowing, handling guest issues and helping pay
for a new roof. A month ago, I brought up the
idea of adding my name to the property. I felt
like after 4years of marriage and everything I've
contributed, it would show that we're
building a life together but she immediately
said NO. She told me the property is tied to
her late husband's family and that she intends
to leave it to her children. I said I don't think
adding my name means her kids loose
anything
Do you think I'm wrong?

MY MOTHER-IN-LAW INSISTED THAT I SHOULD GIVE BIRTH NATURALLY, EVEN THOUGH MY DOCTORS RECOMMENDED A C-SECTION BECAUSE I WAS CARRYING TWINS.
When I found out I was expecting twins, I was excited but also worried about the delivery. During my antenatal appointments, my doctors explained that a C-section would be the safest option for me and my babies based on my medical condition.
However, when my mother-in-law heard about their recommendation, she strongly disagreed. She insisted that I should deliver naturally and argued that women had been giving birth that way for generations.
I tried explaining that I wasn't making the decision myself; I was following the advice of the medical professionals responsible for my care. But she accused me of choosing the easy way out and said I shouldn't agree to surgery so quickly.
I felt hurt and frustrated. I wanted a peaceful pregnancy, but I also knew that my babies' safety and my own health had to come first.
My husband was now caught between his mother and me, and I wondered why a decision about my body and my babies had become a family argument.
So tell me, am I wrong for refusing to let my mother-in-law influence my delivery decision, or should family opinions matter even when doctors recommend a C-section?
