Facts about Naka.
Naka is a town in Benue State.
It is located in gwer west local government of Benue state.
It is also the headquarter of the local government.
It's comprises of four clans which is headed by chiefs and a king as the main head of the town.
The main occupations of people in naka is farming. Majority of them are farmers.
Occupants of naka comprises of many tribes but the major ones are Tiv, Igbo,Idoma,Hausa, Yoruba and ijaw(minority tribe).
Naka town have different markets like yam and goat market situated along taraku road,garri and cassava markets situated along idp camp,and finally their two general markets situated along agabua road.
Source of water, there main sources of water are from wells and also the artificial lake that was constructed for them by their previous governor.there are two main hospitals in naka, one is the general hospital and the other is dada Mathias hospital owned by mission.
There are also many schools in Naka which includes mount la salles,ckc, corner stone etc.
