PLEASE, HELP ME SEND THIS MESSAGE TO MERCY CHINWO, HER HUSBAND AND ALL THE BIG BIG PASTORS IN NIGERIA AND ABROAD WHO THEY CAN LISTEN TO...
20 Coptic Christians in Lybia were kidnapped by some Islamic terrorists and were given opportunity to deny Jesus or be killed... They unanimously chose to be beheaded instead of denying Jesus...
One of them who was just 24 had just engaged his girlfriend and wanted to return to Egypt in few days for the wedding before they were caught and killed in such a painful manner...
When they interviewed the father of the 24year boy who was killed, with smiles on his face but coming from a bleeding heart, he said: "I have forgiven those who killed my son. Instead I pray for them now..."
If these 20 Christians, who never carried microphone, never appeared on posters and were never popular could accept to die to defend Jesus, I put it to you, if they were to be in the shoes of Mercy CHINWO, they wouldn't have taken this case this far...
If they were to be MERCY CHINWO husband, they would have told the lawyers not to sue Verydarkman, even if all he said about them were not true...
If they were to be some of our big big pastors that are close to Mercy CHINWO and her husband, they would have driven to their house and begged them to let the case go...
I don't want to believe that the church in Nigeria has been reduced to such level of sensitivity to our pride and our ego where we ca no more accept to lose just to defend Jesus...
How can an unknown farmer father of a dead 24year old boy have the godly character to forgive the killers of his son and even be praying for them to receive God's mercy while we that are calling ourselves more spiritual people cannot forgive ordinary defamation?...
Honestly, its beginning to look as if Jesus is no more the focus on this thing we are doing... If not, these are times that we should show the world that we are followers of Christ in deed...
If the church in Nigeria will not prepare the people on how to lose for Christ, then, it means we are marching straight into the days of Christ less Christianity...
And I am afraid it is going to be too dangerous for the church in Africa as a whole ...
Mercy CHINWO is the biggest Gospel minister that cuts across tribe, linguistic and even creed. Even if you don't like all her music, but, at least, she has one of two songs that can connect to you...
Are we blind to see that Satan intentionally chose our biggest, to use to experiment the mockery that he is going to release on everyone that mentions God's Name in Nigeria?...
The church in Lybia gave birth to a brand of believers that chose to lose their lives to defend Jesus while the church in Nigeria raised a brand of ministers who will rather fight dirty before unbelievers than lose their money...
To the church in Nigeria, we must hunt Verydarkman down for spoiling our reputation but to the saints in Lybia, Jesus is their only reputation... To lose their heads is better than for Jesus to lose His reputation because of them... (I am writing with tears)
To be honest with you, I choose the Lybian church ..
I choose their pastors than our pastors...
I choose their bible studies than our own...
I choose their testimony than our testimony...
Someone must remind our big big pastors in Nigeria the messages they use to preach many years ago... Messages of self abandonment and pain... The church on Lybia chose the messages we have abandoned and that is why they have believers who could lose their lives in defence of Jesus...
When Jesus said: "Offenses must come.." it's because He forsaw days like this... He also knows that it will be too painful to watch yourself insulted, cheated and even accused wrongly... But that's why He said...
"He that endure till the end shall wear the crown..." The Nigerian church is only preaching endurance till you buy your choice car or till you get anoiting but not endurance in the face of accusation, serial cheating and defamation...
No wonder we are raising rivals and competitors who are ready to pull our brothers down to rise...
Where are all our big elder brothers in ministry who contributed money to buy big cars for our papa? If I were to be one of them, I would call guys like me, that share the same pain with me, and we will contribute money and give to Mercy CHINWO... So that these case will not be mentioned again...
How much is the money that it will make the uncircumsized Philistines to mock our God? How painful is defamation that I cannot ignore for Jesus not to be dragged?
Is this what Christianity has become in Nigeria? Do we understand the precedence this case will set to younger believers in church today? ... It means, no room to tolerate mockery, accusations and slander again... Everyone will be headed to the court over matters we should forgive...
Why won't someone tell MERCY CHINWO that anointing comes with pain? Does she not know that before any promotion to another level is often a hard examination? Has God given mantles to a man He didn't rescue from battles?
How much is 1billion dollars that God cannot touch someone's heart to give her? I thought that by now, she should be labouring on her knees, so that God will release more anointing that will be commensurate with her fame, and not dragging issues over money...
Do you know what happens if God begins to use any of her new songs to wrought mass healings in Intensive Care Units of hospitals across the world? I believe that's the level God wants to take her... That is why the examination comes...
Take this message to her... Leave money... Leave Eeze Tee... Leave Verydarkman... Leave stage... Infact, leave even studio.. Go inside again and labour on your knees... When you come out again, ordinary whistling you make even without microphone will set hearts on fire...
Magistrate can see your innocence and yet, your anointing will still remain at the same level... But when God sees your innocence in secret, your anointing will explode beyond human comprehension...
David did not show Israel any evidence against Saul, rather he showed that evidence to the God of Israel...
Joseph did not show any evidence against Portipher and his wife, rather, he showed it to the God of his father, Jacob...
Jacob did not show people of Midian evidences against his father inlaw, instead he showed it to God and till today, we are still talking about them..
When God wants to make men eternal excellencies and the joy of many generations, He puts them on a path that demands self abandonment...
What will Jesus gain if you end up locking up Verydarkman?...
How will Jesus be praised in Nigeria that Eeze tee went to jail after paying you back the money you said he is owing you?...
Whoever advising you to keep on this path need to go back to the school of burdens... He or she must have lost touch with God's dealings with His choice vessels...
That's why I wonder how we can handle the revival we are praying for in Nigeria... Have you ever seen a revival without persecution? Is there any place God showed up and men did not bleed?... We better start teaching ourselves what revival is so that we will know what it is not...
In the midst of revival, the only choice men make is to lose so that Christ will gain... If people are still talking about their reputation, then, it's no revival happening there yet...
If its revival, courts come to the church and not us going to them...In the midst of revival, we glory in the things we lost and not in the things we won through the court...
Tell our big big pastors to call MERCY CHINWO and preach this gospel to her unless if they are trying to use this case to pass a message to our so called enemies of the church who are defaming us...
Mind you, I am not a blogger. I am not a content creator... You must not like my line of thoughts but it doesn't matter.. I am only a town crier telling my generation in Nigeria that there are still some guys somewhere, choosing death instead of saving their reputation...
Because if all of us keep quiet, this young generation will rise and think the only way to handle public defamation is by going to court and not by looking upto Jesus Who is the authour and finisher of our faith....
I have never heard of any revival conventions going on in Lybia like we have going on everywhere in Nigeria, yet, the church in Lybia raised believers who could choose to die instead of denying Jesus... Infact, the day before they were beheaded before the camera and their death uploaded on YouTube, they, sang, they prayed, in tears and with smiles...
Not praying for God to save them but thanking Him for giving them the opportunity to drink from the same cup of martrydom men like Stephen, Peter, Paul and all the early apostles drank from...
Jesus is asking the church in Nigeria: "When the son of man shall come, shall he find such faith?..."
Friends, already I have made my choice... The God of the Lybian church will be my God...
