ASTRAL PROJECTION IN THE AL GHOUL SYSTEM

(Text from the book Astral Projection: Flying Lessons for Witches.)

The following astral projection technique is taken
from the Al Ghoul Compendium. I developed it
after studying the techniques taught by many
different schools. This technique is non-religious in
the sense that it does not employ the Hebrew
names of Deity used in the Golden Dawn middle
pillar exercise. Here we are using the chakra
system of yoga rather than the spheres on the tree of life used in Kabballah. Using this method, I had many astral projections. I practiced it every night for months at various points in my life. All sorts of strange phenomena will happen when you are practicing, for instance one night I was practicing, and I noticed that it was as if someone had slowly turned the lights on in my room.

I could see the ceiling and the room from my
position of lying on the bed. I remember this as if
it were yesterday. I mentally felt for my eyelids. I
could distinctly feel that they were closed, yet I
could see everything in the room. I wanted to go
out and explore the room, and my neighborhood,
but I could not seem to lift out from my body. This
sort of thing happened on dozens of occasions, it
was remarkable, yet frustrating. On other
occasions, I would get out of my body while wide
awake, and then go out at night to explore my
neighborhood. I would walk the streets alone in the darkness. Often, I would “fall asleep,” in the out of body state, and then it would suddenly be morning, or several hours later and within a dream.

Astral projection is the ability to project the spirit
outside of the body and into the other world. To
perform this ritual, lie on a bed and cover your
body with a light blanket. Lie flat on your back,
elevate the head slightly, and do not cross the
arms or legs. As you do each step of the ritual take
a deep breath for 8 seconds and then exhale slowly for 8 seconds.
