THEME : THE POWER OF THE MOST HIGH
TEXT : LUKE 1 VS 34 - 37

Brethren before, the pronouncement of the statement " power of the most high " something had happened. Since the annouciation of Jesus Christ, even before his birth, the angel Gabriel, when he had an encounter with Mary the mother of Jesus. said to her, thou art favoured amongst all women. He continued by saying there is a message from God unto you. behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. And the angel said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

THE POWER OF THE MOST HIGH COMES MANY THINGS
• the power to change situations
• the power to heal
• the power to raise from dead
• the power to make the barren fruitful.
• the power to wrought diverse miracles

The same power of the most high, had gone to the land of Egypt. when the children of God Were in great trials, tribulation and severe pain, even the gnashing of teeth 430 years.
But when the power of the most high went straight to Egypt, this great power subdued the kingdom of Egypt with all their gods.

God the almighty, revealed himself unto Moses, causing fire in a burning Bush. Instructing Moses to tell pharoah to allow his children isreal to go for the time has come for his people to be redeemed.

Declaration
By the power of the most high God tonight, in this great convention. let every disappointment of the past in your life be turned into great testimony.

Reality of the church today

* The church is going down everyday

*The church is very dry, no flesh, no good health and many churches are sick

*The bones are so many

* Physical condition of the church today:

Every small assemblies are striving to build cathedrals but the question is where are the members that will occupy these edifices

* Moral condition of the church today:

Corruption, immorality and sinfulness have taken over the church

* Financial condition of the church today:

The church is experiencing low income because members are not faithful to pay thier tithes

* Spiritual condition of the church today:

In today's church idolatry, spiritism, witchcraft and satanism has been brought into it thereby causing dead.

Also the church today has suddenly become a place of power tussle, people now bring in cabals and sections in the church.

It is also discovered that Godly parents are now having ungodly children which pops the question; what is the hope of the church?

People now choose religion over Christianity.

Declaration:

* Whatever situation you are facing right now just make a declaration, prophecy to yourself and it will come to pass

*You shall be the head and not the tail

* You shall lend and not borrow

* If you came here sick, you will retire home healed

*If you are down in any sphere of life, God will raise you up

* In this convention, there shall be a difference in your business, health and spiritual life

*The storm is over

17TH ORON FIELD ANNUAL CONVENTION

WELCOME MESSAGE BY THE FIELD SUPERINTENDENT

Brethren in the Lord, on behalf of the Executive Council of The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Oron Field, I sincerely and warmly welcome everyone to this year Annual Convention. I am indeed overwhelmed with joy when I lift up my eyes to behold this multitude of believers in Oron Field. This numerical strength is evident of the fact that the Lord has magnified us exceedingly above the schemes of the wicked, and has daily loaded us with benefits. The year 2022 cane with its peculiar challenges I can say as Apostle Paul puts in " NOW THANKS BE UNTO GOD, WHICH ALWAYS CAUSED US TO TRIUMPH IN CHRIST " 2 Corinthians 2:4. GLORY BE TO GOD

It is gratifying to put you in remembrance in this Convention that the time is ripe for Christ second coming. According to the biblical prophecy, all signs and predictions have been fulfilled and at a spat of finger just like a twinkle of an eye the trumpet of the Lord shall sound. It is only the true believers who have been steadfast despite insult, opposition, hardship, etc, and have washed their garments as white as snow shall be with the Lord. Will you be there? Is your affection on things from above or are you still grabbling and struggling for earthly dominion and position.

We have come to a very decisive moment in the history of the Church of God, in particular, and our nation Nigeria at large. A time to choose who to follow and who to serve; whether the God of our or the strength God. But as for me and my family, we will serve the true God. Therefore, I encourage you to earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered to the saints. Stand firm and having stand, put your trust in God and make yourself reputable.

In these five days we are going to tarry in the presence of God,tbe spirit of God shall bring impactful message that will transform our lives and prepare us for His imminent return. There shall be showers of blessings, healing, breakthrough, restoration and above all deliverance from the power of darkness. Therefore, I urge you to take every service serious. Remain focus. He who calls you is faithful and shall meet you at the point of your need. At the close of this Convention, you shall go back home with wonderful testimonies.

Once again, welcome into the fellowship of saints.

TEXT: JOB 33:23-26

TOPIC: THE MYSTERY OF AN INTERPRETER

INTRODUCTION:
The reason why most people have been avoided is because of wrong interpretation of their actions and lifestyle.
Interpretation is very important as this has caused a lot of problems in some homes.
It is not healthy to say what you're not aware nor have full knowledge of.

BACKGROUND:
Wrong interpretation has caused a lot of problems in today's Church.
Speaking ill of members or workers of the Church over what you're not sure of is a wrong thing to do.
The preacher admonsihed that we should always be sure of what we say about others and please exonerate from judging others unnecessarily over what we're not sure of.

The preacher furthered by explaining that most reason the church isn't growing now is because of wrong interpretation to every activities done in church by the members and even the preachers of the gospel and advised that such attitude be extirpated if we truly desire to make Heaven.

The man of God quotes instances from the story of the woman that washes the feet of our Lord Jesus Christ with an expensive oil and how the disciples misinterpreted the event and scolded Jesus for wasting such an expensive oil Instead of selling and making much gain from it.

CONCLUSION:
Let's be mindful of the interpretation we attach to things and events.
Let's not be fast to interpret the action and attitude of others.
Let's exonerate from speaking ill of others under misappropriation and misinterpretation of every actions without minding to know the true interpretation.

May God through this message, open your eyes to the reality of life and strengthen you with more sight for right interpretation of things.

Amen.
