THE DAY BEFORE THE JUDGEMENT DAY
We live in a lie because we keep postponing the Truth to when it will be convenient. Telling the truth now will force good out of our mouths. So, we keep postponing it to when we think we will be free to say it unhindered. Someone said something and I fell in love with it. He said, IF THE TRUTH WILL KILL THEM, LET THEM DIE.
And I say this without apology, Anyone who postpones the Truth to a time when it will be convenient is an enemy of the Truth. They think life is all about making it here on earth.
Here is an imaginary discussion between a General Overseer and the Lord Jesus Christ a day before the judgment day:
G/O: Lord Jesus, I'm glad you are here. How will it be tomorrow, will you start with the mega pentecostal Churches or these Orthodox churches?
Lord Jesus: Are you ready?
G/O: Yes Lord. All my members are even ready. I had taught them all the principles of the Kingdom lifestyle.
Lord Jesus: Which Kingdom and what principles?
G/O: Ah Daddy! The kingdom of heaven of course! I teach all the principles of kingdom prosperity and new creation realities. I encourage them to pay tithes, sow seed faith, give sacrificial offerings, invest their wealth in the kingdom, recognize God's prophet, maintain healthy relationships with their spiritual fathers and have good mentors over their lives. I taught them to read good books, Lord you know I have written some good books. Many of them have become wealthier and happier by applying some of my principles. They have started enjoying Kingdom prosperity.
Lord Jesus: You have said a lot about the kingdom of the earth, what about the kingdom of heaven? The principles of 'except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God' without holiness you cannot see the Lord, 'They that have this hope purify themselves' They that practise the works of the flesh shall not inherit the kingdom of God' did you make principles from these passages?
G/O: LORD, you know, our focus for this year was 'Rediscovering the wonders of Kingdom prosperity'. Last year, our focus was 'My Year of Unlimited Advancement'. Actually we have been mentioning to them that they should seek first the kingdom of God. And we tell them that to seek the kingdom is to invest in the kingdom. Lord, these ones you mention were not our focus for these past years. Personally, I noticed that immorality was eating the Church up but I wanted to complete the new Church auditorium first. I didn't know tomorrow will be judgment day. Anyway, I can still send bulk SMS and gather them tonight just to inform them that tomorrow is judgment day.
Lord Jesus: That will be too late because you can't go back now. You are already dead. You died yesterday and you are condemned already for postponing the truth just to make a name in your town. Depart from me you cursed and be cast into fire. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth
