EDET AMAKONG'S FAMILY ANNOUNCES FINAL RITES FOR MATRIARCH, LATE MADAM (MRS.) AFFIONG EDET AMAKONG, AGED 105

The burial programme of a revered matriarch, Late madam Affiong Edet Amakong, who passed on at the age of 105 after a life marked by devotion, service, and unshakeable faith.

According to the family, The final Funeral Service holds on Saturday, December 27th 2025, at the Methodist Primary school, Eyo Abasi, Oron LGA, beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Described as a woman of strength, wisdom, and compassion, Late Madam Affiong Edet Amakong is remembered for her unwavering commitment to her family and community. Her decades of spiritual grounding and motherly guidance continue to resonate across generations.

Speaking on behalf of the family, Apostle Etim Amakong who equally is the deputy field superintendent of The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Oron field, expressed gratitude to all who have shown support since her passing.
“Mama lived a life that taught us kindness, discipline, and the fear of God. As we honour her memory, we celebrate a legacy that continues to inspire our family and everyone she touched,” he said.

The Edet Amakong family invites the great people of Udung Usotai, Apostolic faithfuls, relatives, friends, and well-wishers to this solemn yet glorious ceremony set to hold in Eyo Abasi, as they unite to honour the life and legacy of their cherished matriarch.

LATE DEACONESS MRS EKA-ETE OKON JOE EKPIMA JOINS THE HEAVENLY CHOIR

The remains of Late Deaconess EKA-ETE OKON JOE EKPIMA (1960 - 2025), whom until dead was a faithful Deaconess in The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Oron Field Temple headquarters, will finally be laid to eternal rest.

In a release signed by the head of the family, Apostle (Dr.) Victor Okon Joe Ekpima and made available to team of The Cabal Media by one of the deceased daughter, Treasure Ekpima who is equally a founding member of the cabal media, comprehensively outlined the burial arrangements as follows

1. MONDAY 22nd September, 2025 OPENING OF MORNING HOUSE, @ The deceased compound No. 4 Effiat lane, Oron by 7pm

2. Wednesday 24th September, 2025. FRIENDS NIGHT @ The deceased compound No. 4 Effiat lane, Oron by 7pm

3. Thursday 25th September, 2025. NIGHT OF SONGS @ the deceased compound, No. 4 Effiat Lane, Oron by 7pm.

4. Friday 26th September, 2025 @ 8am, body leaves Iquita general hospital mortuary to the family compound at No. 4 Effiat lane, Oron.

5. By 10:00am, FUNERAL/THANKSGIVING SERVICE to be conducted by The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Oron Field @ Methodist Primary school, Akani Obio, Afaha Okpo Street.

Consequently, team of The Cabal Media will be available in each of the aforementioned funeral schedules to bring live update and proceedings of the burial ceremony accordingly.
