IYAKUN FESTIVALS, also known as YEMOJA FESTIVAL celebrated in Sepeteri. Sepeteri is the biggest town in the Saki East Local Government Area of Oke-Ogun Oyo State, Nigeria. The Yoruba people of Sepeteri are related with fon of dahomey and Ifon in Osun State their crownship is Obalufon lineage under Oyo Empire. Sepeteri is located between Igboho & Oje Owode to Saki, Ago-Are and Iseyin. Some of the ritual performed at this festival is confirmation if thier child belong to their family. They put the child inside the river three times. Nothing will happen to the child if he/she belong to the iyakun family..
