IT IS HIGH TIME THE CHRISTIANS AND THE CHURCH TOOK SERIOUS INTEREST IN NIGERIAN POLITICS.

Spiritual encouragement is beautiful and necessary.

Prayer strengthens the soul, gives hope, and aligns us with God’s will.

However, I believe we must also recognize an important truth: faith has always worked best when it is paired with wisdom, courage, and strategic action.

Throughout Scripture and history, we see that prayer was never meant to replace responsibility. It prepared people for action. It strengthened them for leadership. It gave them clarity for strategy.

As Christians, perhaps it is time to think beyond prayer alone and begin to engage more intentionally in areas that shape society. These area include governance, policy, leadership, and community development.

Real change often requires involvement, structure, and long-term planning.

We cannot expect different results if we remain absent from the spaces where decisions are made.

Strategic participation matters. Responsible leadership matters. Civic engagement matters.

History teaches us that survival and progress often require both faith and decisive action.

Prayer positions us spiritually, but wisdom and strategy help us navigate practical realities.

It may not be a matter of choosing between prayer and action but understanding that both must work together.

If care is not taken, these rascals will enact laws that will leave Christians begging to serve our God.
