EVERY FALLER HAS A CATCHER
Questioner: When can a woman decide not to have a husband?
Dr Sharof: In as much as she is not yet dead (she should have a husband).

Dr Sharof: This is because when a woman dies she will not have a husband in the grave. Yes! So that is the reason. By Allaah, no matter how old a woman may be, there will surely be someone who cherishes her. That is why the Arabs have a proverb which says, ‘every faller has a catcher’. No matter how old a woman may be, there will still be an old man who cherishes her.

Dr Sharof: …(unclear words)…for this reason, if you see someone who is ready to marry you, then marry him. However, you have to note that the husband you marry last is the one who will be with you in al-Jannah if Allaah makes both of you enter al-Jannah. If you marry about three husbands, forget about the first husband and the second husband, the third one is the husband you’re likely to enter al-Jannah with, if Allaah makes you enter al-Jannah. As for saying that you’re older than getting married, (this is wrong). If you are not older than having thoughts about men, you will engage in illicit affairs, so you have to get married. If you claim you are older than getting married and you are not wealthy enough to feed yourself, you will later engage in illicit affairs as a means of feeding yourself. So you should peacefully get married. If you do not want to get married because your ex-husband transgressed, then you have to be chaste otherwise evils will happen. And there is no other evil greater than sexual in*******se (in such tempting situation). May Allaah have mercy on us!
