Manner of Approach Matters ✨
When you meet or chat with someone for the very first time, your approach says a lot about you. First impressions matter — they can either open the door for further conversations or shut it completely.
If you barely know someone, starting with greetings like “Babe, what’s up?” or “Hi baby” is honestly not the best way to go. You don’t know the person’s personality, what excites them, or what completely turns them off.
Sometime ago, someone I’ve never spoken to before messaged me with “Hi baby”. He doesn’t know me, has never met me, and yet chose to start the conversation like that. Honestly, I was so put off.
Respect is key.
If you want to connect with someone new, especially online, start with a simple, polite greeting:

“Hello, my name is…”

“Hi, it’s nice to connect with you…”

“Good morning/afternoon, I saw your profile and thought to say hi…”

Small courtesies go a long way. Be formal at first. Let familiarity and closeness grow naturally over time. Jumping straight into overfamiliar terms might make you seem disrespectful or insincere — and that could cost you the chance to build something meaningful.
Let’s normalize respectful and thoughtful introductions. Good manners will never go out of style. 💯

A Nigerian nurse, Ogechi Okechukwu, has been arrested for allegedly scamming people by pretending to have a fake illness. She claimed to need urgent surgery and raised nearly N800,000 through a kind-hearted Facebook influencer, Uwaoma Susan Joseph, who used her platform to help Ogechi.

However, investigations revealed that Ogechi was lying and had planned the scam with a doctor from FMC Yenagoa. Police found evidence of their conversations on Ogechi's phone. She is currently in police custody.

A 24 Year Old Okoli Chinaecherem from Ekwulobia R&pes a Five year Old Girl in Isuofia..

He was apprehended with the help of a CCTV , the 5 year old was sent on an Errand, an Errand that was not supposed to take more than 5 minutes, the family got worried after they couldn’t see the girl after some hours, on her return, she came back crying, after some enquires and Examination on the small girl, they found out that something is wrong with her physically,..

With the help of a mounted cctv camera, they saw where this young man lured her into a different path into a forest and had his way with her.

On apprehension, the young man admitted to R&ping her, He said he promised to buy her something that she should follow him, on getting to the forest, he asked her to remove her clothes and bend over…a five year old!.

According to the video, he was apprehended by the people of isuofia.
