THE LOVE THAT BROKE ME 1

We got off the bus.
Just when I thought I had conquered love, I met jiggy.
An educated and good looking young man with an average earnings. I was not gonna fall but yeah, let's just give this a trial, who knows it might not hurt.
We started off, with everything moving cool, he would call and do all of the stuff that men do to woo a woman. I found it hard to get along but I had to forgive the past and face the present.
I got interested and loved the attention I got, feelings slowly growing, love creeping in, getting lost in my world and living in another - Jiggys.
Call it clingy - my emotions began to not stay without him, his voice, his touch, his smile and everything became an Addiction to my soul. I have been a good girl and casted my vulnerability without a second thought - I have found him, that I will always say to myself.
Time past
Hours ran into day,
Days ran into month,
Months almost a year,
Maybe his feelings were burning out, I did most of the calling, I texted first and I would long to hear him say "he loved me".
He is the love in my heart, am I really his ??
His last words just before he broke me - "I can't get over my Ex."
My flames died down, The love I found didn't find me.
Love is dead to me 😭😭😭😭
