I was typing “Happy New Month” on my Facebook wall
 smiling, thinking of captions that would get likes.

Then my phone rang.

My younger brother:
“Ah ah
 sis, wetin dey happen? You never hear?”
I said, “Hear what?”

Silence for a second

Then he said it—
“Daddy don kick bucket
”

I froze.

“Huh??”
My heart dropped. My hands went weak.

That “Happy New Month” suddenly meant nothing.
Nothing at all.

I deleted everything I had written


And the only thing I could type was: BLACK SUNDAY.

Just like that
 joy turned to pain.
Just like that
 life changed forever.

Some moments don’t knock.
They just enter and scatter everything.

Let me tell you the truth nobody is saying 👇

Some of you are over-sharing your own posts thinking it will boost your reach

But you’re actually damaging your page slowly.

Yes, sharing is good, but too much of it? Dangerous.

Here’s what happens:

* Your content starts looking “forced” to the algorithm
* Engagement becomes unnatural
* Your reach drops instead of growing
* Facebook stops pushing your posts to new people

You think you’re helping your page

but you’re quietly killing it.

They say “engagement brings visibility” — and yes, it’s true


But that doesn’t mean you should start engaging on every random post that pops up on your feed.

Not every “like, comment, share” is helping your page.

Some people are unknowingly damaging their reach by engaging on every Dick and Harry post just because they want visibility.

Don’t be deceived by every so-called “coach” many of them won’t tell you the hidden cost this habit can have on your page growth.

‱ Engage smart, not desperate
‱ Be intentional with what you interact with
‱ Protect your algorithm direction

Engagement is powerful
 but overdoing it can confuse your audience signals and slow your growth.

Grow wisely, not noisily.
