Iām yet to understand this āno refundā policy some business owners have.
I ordered something, paid for it, and then found out that the particular product I wanted was no longer available.
Okay, fine. These things happen.
But then you tell me you donāt do refunds and I should pick another product instead. š
Excuse me?
If the product I paid for is unavailable and my order hasnāt been processed or sent out, why canāt I get my money back?
I understand why some businesses, especially bakers and caterers, may have specific refund policies. They may have already bought ingredients or started working on an order.
But for businesses selling things like clothes, shoes, bags, wigs, etc., I honestly struggle to understand why a customer should be forced to choose something else when the original product they paid for isnāt available.
Iām a business owner too, and personally, if your order hasnāt been sent out, your money is refundable.
But I genuinely want to hear other perspectives.
Do you agree with the āno refundā policy, or should customers get their money back when the seller canāt provide what they paid for?
