Muslim-Muslim Ticket: Christians in Yobe endorsed Tinubu/Shettima ticket.

Christians in Yobe, under the umbrella of Northeast Progressive Christians Network led by its Coordinator, Emmanuel Degubi endorsed Tinubu/Shettima as their preferred Presidential and vice Presidential candidates ahead of 2023 general elections.

Degubi, who is the current SSA to Gov Mai Mala Buni on interfaith affairs said the good leadership of Gov Mai Mala Buni is the main reason why Christians in Yobe can't be separated with APC.

He went further and said the way Gov Mai Mala Buni visibly attracted innumerable developmental projects and programs to the state, driving an inclusive government that leaves no religion behind, it's even necessary for them to go around the state, mobilize their fellow Christians and vote for all APC candidates (from top to the bottom) in the 2023 general election.

What Nigeria can learn from Biafrans.

During the civil war, Biafra made her own weapons, including guns, armoured cars, war tanks and the famous ogbunigwe. Biafra also refined her own petrol. Please don’t take my word for it. 50 years after defeating Biafra, Nigeria can’t make her own weapons or refine fuel. We are dependent on others to fight Boko Haram. Our brothers and sisters are being killed like chickens in Northern Nigeria. And we import every drop of petrol sold in Nigeria. Why didn’t Nigeria learn from the Biafrans? Why did we not turn those Biafran war era scientists into Nigerian scientists to drive our technology? Nigeria should not fear the Igbos. Nigeria should be fair to the Igbos!

And Nigeria have another opportunity come 2023,to hire a Biafran Igbo man to pilot the affairs of this nation, making Nigeria to be great country again, but tribalistic attitude and hatred towards Ndi Igbo in Nigeria Will not allow them to vote for the right man for the job. An average Nigeria want a bad leader from his region to a good leader from another rejoin of the country.

Christogonus Ezebuiro Obinna, alias Dr. Sir Warrior, was an Igbo highlife musician who was tconsider as the leader of Oriental Brothers International Band which was famous in the Nigerian Igbo highlife music scene for several decades. He performed primarily in Nigeria, as well as performing internationally in places such as London and the United States of America with his crew. Originally, the founder of the group is Ferdinand Emeka Opara.

Dr. Sir Warrior was able to transform his performance into a successful career in the 1970s when he joined the Oriental Brothers International Band. The band later splintered, leading to Prince Ichita & the Great Oriental Brothers International Band, Oriental Brothers International, and then the original Dr. Sir Warrior & His Oriental Brothers International, simply called The Oriental Original. He had about 12 platinum and 10 gold hits in his career.

Dr Sir Warrior was married and had five children (three boys & two girls). His first son had said of him "He did not allow us to get interested in music. He wanted us to finish our education first. He would always emphasize that education was the best legacy, other things could follow later"The younger Ajuzieogu knew that he would one day be a highlife musician like his dad. They both said, "As long as we intend to pursue music as career we will still abide with our father's wish". His legacy was summarised by Oliver De Coque, who in paying tribute to Dr. Sir Warrior, said, "He was a very good and amiable person. We have lost such a genius in highlife." Though his children are currently working on immortalizing him as a profound legend in African highlife, Sir Warrior died on June 2, 1999, because of a brief illness after his last 2 performances.

Rest in peace legend.

"Well, all he said about the ethnic groups were negative attributes but in the case of the Igbos, he has something positive to say about them I.e they are industrious cool cool
I'm shocked that he was able to analyze the characteristics of the people of Nigeria and these people still exhibit all those characters he mention even to this day shocked shocked"

What Lord Frederick Lugard Had To Say About Hausa, Yoruba And Igbo .

*The handover notes Lord Lugard wrote to his colleague, Walter H. Lang, on the 25th of September 1918. The quote reads inter alia:*

The Hausa-Fulani has no ideals, no ambitions save such as sensual in character. He is a fatalist, spendthrift and a gambler. He is gravely immoral and is seriously diseased that he is a menace to any community to which he seeks to attach himself.

Lagos has for 20 years opposed every Governor and has formented strife and bloodshed in the hinterland…, I have spent the best part of my life in Africa; my aim has been the betterment of the natives for whom I have been ready to give my life. But after some 29 years, and after nearly 12 years as Governor here, I am free to say that the people of Lagos and indeed the westerners are the lowest, the most seditious and disloyal, the most purely prompted by self-seeking money motives of any people I have met.

These people of predominantly Eastern Nigeria are fiercely rebellious with no regard for authority. Though industrious and religious, in deference to the objectives of her majesty and the crown, they are highly dangerous to be trusted with power.

Though I agree with his position to an extent, especially for the Igbos. This explains why they have always worked against Igbos presiding over Nigeria or being independent. They understand that they will ruin their indirect colonialism. So, to safeguard their interest in Nigeria is for the Igbo man to be sidelined and placed on watchlist

ASUU STRIKE: EVOLUTION OF TETFund

We know that Education Trust Fund (ETF) is now Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund). Only the name was changed. These money are collected by government as education tax from companies in Nigeria to be used as direct intervention to cater for all tertiary institutions (except private) in Nigeria. If you go to any Federal or State Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education, only TETFund is working which is not directly government money. This whole idea was conceived by ASUU think-tanks to source fund to develop higher education in Nigeria. So what exactly is the input of government in running tertiary institutions and where is the evidence that government is spending money in universities if you remove TETFund? It is a blatant lie to say that government cannot afford education in Nigeria when 90% of projects, programs, scholarships, conferences and equipments are provided by tax fund (TETFund). If you want to kill a country, destroy its education system and that is what this pathetic government is doing.

Infact, for further clarification, the following is the definition:
"Tertiary Education Trust Fund Act, 2011 imposes a two percent (2%) Education Tax on the profit of all registered companies operating in Nigeria. Tertiary Education Trust Fund is charged with the responsibility to manage, disburse and monitor the education tax to public tertiary institutions in Nigeria."

Watching Obi is now everyone’s favorite show. Stop hating a man God has chosen to librate the country. While you hate and curse, the Candidates themselves cannot take their eyes off Obi’s interview. They watch him daily, at home and even in their private jets. Stop hating a man God has blessed. God has decided to change your situation in 2023. He has chosen a man to lead, your dislike for him will change nothing.

Just be ObiDient! That’s the key.

Never Again!

Long-time ago in the Animal Kingdom, a sheep was passing and saw a lion crying inside a cage trapped and the lion begged the sheep to save him with a promise not to kill and eat it but the sheep refused. After much persuasion and for the sheep's gullibility it opened the cage for the lion.

Now the lion was very hungry having stayed in the cage for days without food. It quickly grabbed the sheep to kill and eat but the sheep reminded him of his promise. They were still there arguing when other animals came passing and they sought to know what happened. Both the lion and the sheep narrated their own side of the story but because of fear and in trying to gain Favour in the sight of the lion, all the animals took side with the lion except the Tortoise who claim not to understand the whole scenario.

Now the Tortoise asked the lion to show them where he was before the sheep rescued him, he pointed at the cage. He asked again, "were you inside or outside when the sheep arrived"? The lion said he was inside. The tortoise again said, "ok, enter let’s see how difficult it could be inside". The lion entered and the tortoise locked him back inside.

In amazement, the other animals asked tortoise "why" and he replied "if we allow him to eat the sheep today, he will still go hungry tomorrow and we don't know the next amongst us to be eaten tomorrow.

The Moral of this tale
*Don't support evil today because it doesn't affect you directly, tomorrow it could be your turn.
