STAGE1 INSPECTION:This is to determine if something is actually wrong or if there is a problem with the vehicle.

STAGE2 TROUBLESHOOTING:You can also refer to this second step as diagnosis or trouble-diagnosis.Here you get to find out the exact component or part that is dysfunctional and what caused it.Sometimes,you got to use diagnostics scanners to perform this operation

STAGE3 REPAIR:This is where the the problem and the cause you discovered is fixed.You can do some of them but remember to meet a technician for a complicated problem


STAGE 4 QUALITY CHECK:This is done to be sure that what was done in stage three actually resolved the issue discovered

You may not be a professional but as an owner of a vehicle,a little knowledge about the four procedures will make technicians think twice before they bill you.In my subsequent posts l will tell you what to do to avoid extortion from roadside mechanics.Stay tuned cause l am busy on this drum brake.
