IMOLITES | The Abia State Government has stepped in to fix the bad portion of the Okigwe–Uturu–Afikpo Federal Road, which falls under Imo State territory.

According to reports, the Imo State Government had neglected the repairs because the affected section of the road is mostly used by the people of Uturu (Abia) and Ebonyi State.

Governor Otti’s decision to intervene, despite the road being outside Abia’s direct jurisdiction, has drawn public attention and commendation, as the road is a major link between Abia, Imo, and Ebonyi, and vital for trade and daily movement.
