Relationships should not be what you go into and opt-out whenever you wish. There should be some form of purpose or goals from the 2 people involved and some sense of accountability from both parties.

Taking breaks is okay but don't make the other person feel neglected for too long because they may be hurting as not everyone can handle breaks in relationships. If you are tired of the relationship, it is better to tell your supposed partner rather than use a break as an excuse or avenue because that only makes you a coward.

Life involves facing your fears and not running away from them!

Today made it exactly 1-week of my post-tooth extraction. I was given the tooth that was extracted but the trauma and pain I had during the process has not allowed me to view that tooth till today.

I still get goosebumps when I remember the procedure and the pain I had to go through in that surgical room 😭
I honestly don't know if I'll be able to view that tooth.
Any pain that involves the teeth, whether it's before, during or post-surgery is one he.ll of a thing that you wouldn't even wish on your enemy.

During the weekend, I happened to go to a store to get something and make some cash withdrawals with their POS machine.

The boy who attended to me was the son of the owner of the shop, so after the whole transaction, he was supposed to give me the balance of the cash after deducting because of what I bought.

He handed me the cash and I noticed that he gave me an extra 500 naira which I returned to him. And that was the second time on different occasions I experienced that from that same boy because I patronize them regularly.

Why did I share this?

It doesn't cost a thing, to be honest and transparent. One could have made away with the extra money and the boy would have run a loss and maybe would have been scolded by his dad but that's not who I am. I do not take what doesn't belong to me and even if I have to, I would take permission to do so.

Let this be a food for thought!

I was on my way back today, and while I and some other people were waiting for the cars to drive past so we could cross, one young girl who was not too patient for the last vehicle to drive past was like "Oga, carry this your carton pass naa"😁

I looked at her and looked at the clean black Toyota Camry(I don't exactly know the common name though but it was super clean and new)she was calling carton and in my mind, I said, you're still trekking and jumping from one keke to bus, yet you open your mouth to call someone's sweet ride a carton.
Haaaa! 🫢
People get mind ooh 😀

I hope she buys hers soonest or maybe she has one already because that's the only thing that can justify her comment on that car but it's glaring that doesn't have it and won't be getting it unless someone gifts it to her. 😁

As a lady, kindly do well to stay clean during those times of the month and if you're a man close to any woman, support them in any way that you can, and together we can make this place a period-friendly world.
