GRACE, A LICENSE FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
Gen.6.8 - But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. -- Noah was different. This is what I called grace. Oh GOD help me not to be contaminated with the corruption of this age. It's possible to live in S***m and Gomorrah and remain a virgin. I call it grace. It's possible to live in Potiphar's house and flee from fornication. Grace. It's possible to live in the King's palace and reject his food that defile and contaminate. Grace. It's possible to tell the King face to face, "we will not bow to your great image." Grace.
If grace helped them, why are we swimming in the pool of sin and still confess that HIS grace is sufficient? Does HIS grace sufficient in SIN or in RIGHTEOUSNESS? Grace is the ability to live like JESUS in Nigeria the home of corruption.
When grace is in your heart, it will issue out into your life too. Jude calls those who treat the grace of God as license for sin “ungodly men,” and charges them with denying “the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.” According to Jude, abusing grace is the same as denying the Lordship of Jesus.
2 Cor.13:14. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. This is a potent prayer. The grace that helped JESUS to overcome, the peculiar concentrated love of GOD, and the doing things together with the HOLY SPIRIT, be with me. You can't have these three things and Sin. And having this deep relationship with GOD is more than gold. Grace is not license for SIN but license for RIGHTEOUSNESS and HOLINESS. OH GOD, PLEASE HELP US, AMEN.
