Throwback: Young Peter Okoye Lost Mr Campus at UniAbuja But Still Gave Prizes to the Winner
An old video of Peter Okoye from his university days is currently going viral again.
In the clip, a young and very slim Peter is speaking after contesting for Mr Campus at the University of Abuja. He did not win the title. The winner was a guy called Tony.
Even though he lost, Peter still prepared prizes for the person who won. People are calling him a genuine guy for that attitude.
In the video, he also talked about how he had better physical features than the winner, but Tony believed in himself more and that was why he took the crown.
Peter later shared this same video years ago to inspire his fans, saying there is still hope and that he did not just start succeeding today.
Many people in the comments are praising him for being sportsmanlike even as a student. Others are saying this is the same humble character he still shows today.
