A white substance that sparked an emergency evacuation at the White House on Sunday night, July 2, has been discovered to be co***ne following a test that was carried out.



The powder was found in a publicly accessible area of the West Wing on Sunday evening and prompted a brief evacuation of the complex.

President Joe Biden was not present at the time, as he was enjoying a weekend retreat at Camp David.

The Secret Service, responsible for presidential security, swiftly responded to the situation, with fire and emergency service personnel conducting initial tests on the mater on the material. These tests revealed that the substance was indeed co***ne.

Authorities are now trying to determine how the substance got into the White House after a Secret Service agent found the powder during a routine sweep of the premises.

First son Hunter Biden, 53, who has acknowledged a prior addiction to crack co***ne, was on the White House grounds on Friday, June 30, before heading off to Camp David with his father for the holiday weekend. They returned to Washington Tuesday morning.

Rumors circulated in April that the first son may have also been living at the White House for a time to avoid being served by the mother of his love child.

In his memoir “Beautiful Things,” Hunter detailed his years-long battle with co***ne addiction, which he said intensified after the death of his brother Beau in 2015.

Many photos, text messages and other communications revealing his co***ne abuse ended up on the first son’s now infamous laptop, including recently surfaced images of Hunter smoking crack behind the wheel of his car in a residential Arlington, Va., neighborhood in the summer of 2018.

Co***ne is a Schedule II drug under the Controlled Substances Act, meaning it has a high potential for abuse, according to the US Drug Enforcement Administration.

President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima have backed up their argument of Peter Obi not being a member of Labour Party by producing an alleged register of the party for Anambra state.

Tinubu and Shettima had claimed that Obi was not qualified to contest in the last presidential election on the platform of the Labour Party because he is not a member of the opposition party.

Their lawyer, Chief Wole Olanipekun (SAN) tendered the register along with LP’s letter, dated April 25, 2022 forwarding the membership register to the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Though Obi and Labour Party's lawyer, Livy Uzoukwu (SAN) objected to the admission of the documents, the court admitted them and marked them as Exhibits RA17 and RA18.

Wagner group chief Yevgeny Prigozhin vowed Saturday to "go to the end" to topple the Russian military leadership and dethrone Vladimir Putin.

Prigozhin's speech comes after Putin made a public speech on Saturday June 24, saying his forces will clamp down on Wagner forces for commiting treason.

Putin called armed rebellion by mercenary chief Prighozin 'betrayal,' and promised to 'defend the people' and Russia.

“Everyone who took up arms against the army is a traitor. Will do everything to protect Russia," Putin said while addressing the nation.

In response, Wagner PMC said in its Telegram channel, “Putin made the wrong choice. All the worse for him. Soon we will have a new president”

Wagner forces are reportedly just hours away from Moscow even as they  take control of military governing bodies in key Russian cities.

Wagner now controls both Rostov (population 1.1 million) and Voronezh (also population 1.1 million). Wagner is now approaching Krasnodar (1 million) and Volgograd (950k) without any resistance.

The UK has now waded into the recent developments and released a statement .

"Over the coming hours, the loyalty of Russia's security forces, and especially the Russian National Guard, will be key to how this crisis plays out. This represents the most significant challenge to the Russian state in recent times," Britain's defence ministry said in a regular intelligence update.

The Peoples Democratic Party and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, on Tuesday, indicated that they will on Thursday close their case before the Presidential Election Petitions Court in Abuja, where they are challenging the outcome of the February 25 presidential election in which President Bola Tinubu was declared winner.

Their lead counsel, Chris Uche (SAN), mentioned this at the resumed hearing of the petition on Tuesday.

The petitioners, according to a pre-hearing schedule drafted by the court, were given three weeks to prove their case, which elapsed on Tuesday.

Beyonce gives ÂŁ8,000 in grant to Nigerian-owned restaurant in London

American singer, Beyoncé, has awarded a sum of £8,000 in a grant to a popular Nigerian-owned restaurant in North London, alongside nine other winners.

According to ITV news on Tuesday, the Black Parade Small Business Impact Luncheon was created by Beyoncé’s BeyGood Foundation to “celebrate people, communities, and small businesses impacted by economic inequities worldwide”, with Beyoncé committing £806,400 to support businesses.

The restaurant, Chuku’s, which is located in Tottenham was selected to receive £8,000 by Beyoncé’s foundation.

Emeka Frederick, co-founder of Chuku’s, expressing his happiness said, “This grant couldn’t be more welcome. Chuku’s, like other restaurants that don’t have a financial reserve, has been battered by lockdowns and the cost of living crisis.

“Every day, we’re fighting to stay open to make it to our fourth birthday. This money will make that fight a little easier and allow us to continue celebrating Nigerian culture on Tottenham’s High Road for the time being.”

The luncheon was held at the Four Seasons in Tower Hill where over 100 entrepreneurs gathered at the event with the chance to win ÂŁ806,000 in prizes.

A report from a subpoenaed witness who identified herself as an employee of Amazon Web Services Incorporated, USA, has been admitted as evidence by the presidential tribunal.

The witness who gave her name as Claretta Ogar, disclosed that she is a cloud engineer and architect.
