RED ALERT: PLOT TO COMPROMISE BVAs UNCOVERED


The Senator Athan Achonu Media Centre wishes to alert security agents and patriotic INEC staff, especially those sent from outside Owerri for this election, about plans already concluded to compromise the BVAs for use for tomorrow’s election by the RATECH team.


A reliable intel from some LGAs in Owerri Federal Constituency has uncovered plans by the technical team in those LGAs discussing about issuing wrong passwords to some of the ad hoc staff for this election.

Specifically, this devious plan was being discussed at the Owerri Municipal and Owerri North Local Government Areas where the Head of the RATECH team has concluded plans to issue wrong passwords to PO especially those posted to polling units with large voters. According to the source, the instruction is to ensure that some of the BVAS malfunction at the Polling Units.

The purpose is to either generate a fake result or frustrate the voting process in specific areas where the riggers does not have strong presence.

This is shameful and devilish.

All party agents in every booth and ward, as well as voters should hold the ‘RATHEC Team responsible, not the POs, wherever BVAs password is wrong because it has been compromised. We also urge all POs to escalate this criminality wherever it is found.

The agents and indeed all Imo Voters must resist this and insist that the proper thing is done.

We vehemently condemn this evil plot and call on the INEC Commissioners we have been told were seconded to the state to ensure a free, fair, and smooth exercise to forestall this, as the opposition parties can never accept it. We request that the head of the RATECH team in Owerri Federal Constituency and indeed all other LGAs should be cautioned before they discredit a process that is meant to yield positive outcomes.

We also charge security operatives to ensure that compromised INEC staff do not create a crisis during this electoral exercise.

All Roads Lead To Ehime-Mbano for mother of all rallies As Achonu Campaigns In Home Soil

Senator Athan Achonu, Imo Labour Party governorship candidate will take his campaign train to his own kinfolks amidst great expectation.

The Aku Ruo Ulo exponent will be at the height of his campaign buzz with a massive home crowd already in wait for him; a fraternity with their own son.

Agu Otu Aka is a man well endeared in Ehime-Mbano beyond politics, and his home coming will be a testament of love and solidarity coming from a solemn crowd who would ask for nothing than victory at polls.

The event scheduled to hold at Lutheran Primary School ground, Ogboama, Umuezeala, Thursday October 26, starting at noon, will attract loyalists, Obidients and those whom Senator Achonu has touched in several ways.

Recall that his campaign train that visited Orlu Zone with Peter Obi in attendance, attracted neighbouring communities who could not hold back to have a glimpse of the One-Arm-General and the Chief Obidient, Peter Obi. The surge of crowd at Orlu was overwhelming, with a solidarity chant for Labour Party.

Ehime-Mbano is the home soil of Senator Athan Achonu. His campaign in the Zone, however, may be seen as mere formality, but will be very significant to solidify his love for his people.

His campaign train, always formidably coloured with a kaleidoscope of Super-Bikers, die-hard Obidients and great party loyalists will be a cynosure at the Lutheran School ground.

According to a statement from the Achonu Media Team Head, Chibuikem Diala, he said, "This is a mother of all rallies. The expectation is very high, especially as Ehime-Mbano has been impatient to see Agu Otu Aka touch their soil. We are storming Ehime-Mbano with massive love, and strong message of victory. We will not disappoint our own people."

He also noted that everyone regardless of party affiliation is eager to see Sen Achonu come home to identify with his own kinfolks and reel the message of rescue Imo to their ear, adding that it will be great at the rally ground.

Thank you Orlu Zone.

Today, His Excellency, Mr Peter Obi joined us for Orlu Zonal rally. His arrival quickened the whole city and sparked spontenous excitement that lit the environment with so much joy and happiness. We also observed a one minute silence for the many souls that have been killed in the violence that ravaged the region in the last three years.

As always he identified with the mammoth crowd and thanked Orlu zone for their support for the Labour party. While he spoke he brought in a deep sense of purpose and insurmountable drive with a profound connection to his beliefs and passion for development and better Nigeria.

Indeed, Our progress towards restoring our dear state to a secure, Industrialized and developed sub-national government is on course and the people of Orlu are leading from the frontline.
