EPISODE 25 — The First Guardian

Akosua stared at the wall.

Her name was almost completely carved into the stone.

AKOSUA MENSIMA.

“No…” she whispered.

The hidden doorway suddenly opened wider.

Evelyn’s voice echoed from inside.

“Akosua, come quickly!”

Akosua stepped forward, but Ama grabbed her hand.

“Something is wrong.”

Abena suddenly dropped the Silver Bell.

CLANG!

Everyone turned.

The little girl was staring at the wall.

“I remember now.”

Sister Grace looked at her.

“Remember what?”

Abena pointed to an old carving beneath the thirteen names.

There was a drawing of a girl holding the Silver Bell.

But the girl wasn’t Abena.

It wasn’t Evelyn.

It was Sister Grace.

Akosua looked at her in shock.

“You were the first guardian.”

Grace lowered her head.

“I was.”

She explained that in 1973, she discovered the hidden chamber and made a promise to protect the students who were trapped there.

But the promise had a condition.

Every few years, the bell demanded a new guardian.

“I tried to break the cycle,” Grace said. “But I couldn’t.”

Suddenly, Evelyn appeared inside the hidden doorway.

She looked terrified.

“Akosua… don’t trust the bell.”

The Silver Bell began glowing on the floor.

EPISODE 24 — The Forgotten Name

The white light disappeared.

Silence filled the chamber.

Akosua looked around.

Abena was still holding the Silver Bell.

Ama was standing beside her.

But Evelyn was gone.

“Evelyn?” Akosua whispered.

No answer.

Sister Grace slowly stood up.

For the first time, she looked peaceful.

“It’s finished,” she said.

Akosua shook her head.

“No. You said someone had to say goodbye. Where is Evelyn?”

Sister Grace pointed toward the wall.

A new name had appeared among the thirteen names.

EVELYN ANSAH — 1986

But underneath it was another inscription:

THE FIRST GUARDIAN WAS NEVER ABENA.

Akosua stared at the words.

“Then who was the first guardian?”

Abena lowered her eyes.

“I don’t know.”

Suddenly, the Silver Bell began ringing by itself.

DING.

The chamber lights flickered.

A hidden stone door opened behind the names.

And from inside came Evelyn’s voice.

“Akosua… you have to see this.”

Akosua stepped toward the doorway.

Ama grabbed her arm.

“Wait.”

Akosua looked back.

Ama pointed at the wall.

The name EVELYN ANSAH was slowly disappearing.

And underneath it, a new name was appearing.

EPISODE 23 — The Last Bell

The Silver Bell glowed brighter.

A thin crack spread across its surface.

CRACK…

Sister Grace screamed,

“Don’t touch it!”

But Evelyn stepped in front of Akosua.

“She’s afraid of the truth.”

The chamber shook violently.

Dust rained from the ceiling as the chains wrapped around the bell began tightening by themselves.

Ama pointed at the pedestal.

“Akosua… there’s something written there!”

Akosua wiped away years of dust.

Ancient words appeared:

The curse does not end when the bell is broken. It ends when it is rung by the first forgotten girl.

“The first forgotten girl…” Akosua whispered.

“Abena,” Evelyn replied.

“But where is she?”

Before anyone could answer, a small voice echoed behind them.

“I’m here.”

Little Abena stepped out of the darkness, still wearing her old school uniform.

She looked at the bell with tears in her eyes.

“I’ve been waiting for fifty-three years.”

Sister Grace fell to her knees.

“Please… don’t ring it.”

Abena gently lifted the Silver Bell.

The entire school above them fell silent.

She looked at Akosua and smiled.

“When this bell rings… someone must say goodbye.”

Abena swung the bell once.

DINGGGG…

A blinding white light filled the chamber.

And Evelyn slowly began to disappear.

EPISODE 22 — The Bell Keeper

The staircase beneath the thirteenth bed seemed endless.

Akosua held Ama’s hand tightly as Evelyn led them downward.

The silver bell rang again.

DING…

The sound wasn’t above them anymore.

It was below.

At the bottom stood an enormous circular chamber carved from ancient stone. In the center was a black pedestal, and resting on it was the Silver Bell of St. Dymna.

It was much larger than Akosua imagined.

Chains wrapped around it like it had been imprisoned.

“Break it,” Evelyn whispered.

Akosua stepped forward.

Suddenly, a voice echoed through the chamber.

“Touch it… and they all disappear.”

Sister Grace emerged from the darkness.

Behind her stood the spirits of the twelve missing girls.

They weren’t trapped by chains.

They were trapped by the bell.

“Every time it rings,” Grace said, “Dormitory 13 chooses another guardian so the others can remain.”

Ama looked horrified.

“So if Akosua destroys it…”

Grace nodded sadly.

“Every soul bound here will vanish forever.”

Evelyn shook her head.

“She’s lying!”

The bell began glowing brighter.

Cracks spread across the chamber walls.

Above them, the school bell rang exactly 3:13 A.M.

The final Founders’ Night had begun.

Akosua slowly reached toward the Silver Bell…

EPISODE 21 — The Thirteenth Bed

The door of Dormitory 13 opened completely.

A freezing wind swept through the room.

Akosua stared at the glowing nameplate.

AKOSUA MENSAH.

“That’s not my surname,” she whispered. “I’m Akosua Mensima.”

Evelyn’s face changed.

“No… it’s changing history.”

The letters on the nameplate slowly moved.

MENSAH disappeared.

One by one, new letters carved themselves into the wood.

MENSIMA.

Ama stepped back in horror.

“It knows your real name.”

Sister Grace walked between the dusty beds, her white dress floating above the floor.

“Every generation chooses a guardian. The thirteenth bed is never empty.”

Akosua shook her head.

“I’m not staying here.”

She grabbed Ama’s hand and ran for the door.

But the entrance had vanished.

Only thirteen beds remained.

Suddenly, all twelve dusty beds creaked at once.

Creeeak…

The blankets slowly lifted by themselves.

Girls began sitting up.

Abena.

Evelyn.

Adjoa.

Dozens of students from different years opened their eyes, still wearing the uniforms they disappeared in.

They weren’t monsters.

They looked frightened.

One by one, they whispered the same sentence:

“Break the bell before sunrise.”

Akosua looked around.

“The silver bell… where is it?”

Evelyn pointed beneath the thirteenth bed.

Something metallic began ringing.

The lantern crashed onto the stone floor.

Its flame flickered wildly.

Headmistress Nyarko slowly stepped backward as the Woman in White emerged from the darkness.

For the first time… she spoke her real name.

“My name is Sister Grace.”

Akosua frowned.

“Sister?”

The Headmistress closed her eyes.

“Forty-three years ago, Grace was the first Head Girl of St. Dymna. She swore to protect thirteen girls during Founders’ Night…”

Her voice broke.

“But she failed.”

The tunnel trembled.

The Woman in White lifted her hand, and the carved names on the walls began glowing one by one.

ABENA.

EVELYN.

AMA.

Every missing girl.

Akosua looked at Evelyn, who had silently appeared beside the tunnel entrance.

“You were never trying to hurt us,” Akosua whispered.

Evelyn shook her head.

“I’ve been trying to stop Grace from choosing another girl.”

Suddenly, the white mark on Akosua’s wrist burned.

The number 13 glowed brighter than ever.

The Headmistress reached the bottom of the stairs.

Akosua immediately stepped in front of Ama.

“Why are you here?”

Headmistress Nyarko looked at the names carved into the tunnel walls.

Then she whispered:

“Because you finally found the beginning.”

Ama stared at her.

“You knew about this place?”

The Headmistress nodded.

“Every Headmistress has known.”

Akosua’s eyes widened.

“Then tell us the truth.”

The Headmistress looked toward the darkness where Abena had disappeared.

“Dormitory 13 was never built as a dormitory.”

Silence.

“It was originally a small prayer room,” she continued. “In 1973, a group of students began using it secretly. They called themselves The Thirteen.”

Akosua noticed something carved into the wall.

13 NAMES.

One name was written first.

ABENA MENSAH.

“The first girl,” Akosua whispered.

The Headmistress nodded.

“Abena discovered something hidden beneath the school. After that night, she disappeared.”

Ama stepped closer.

“And Evelyn?”

The Headmistress lowered her voice.

“Evelyn tried to uncover what happened to Abena in 1986.”

Suddenly, footsteps echoed behind them.

Tap… Tap… Tap…

The Headmistress froze.

“No…”

Akosua turned.

At the end of the tunnel stood the Woman in White.

But this time, she wasn’t looking at Akosua.

She was staring directly at the Headmistress.

And then she spoke:

“You promised never to tell them.”

The Headmistress dropped her lantern.

EPISODE 18 — Beneath the Chapel

The Woman in White took another step.

Evelyn shouted,

“GO!”

Without thinking, Akosua jumped through the trapdoor.

The wooden hatch slammed shut above her.

Darkness.

She landed on a stone floor and heard Ama crying.

“Akosua… over here!”

A narrow tunnel stretched beneath the chapel, its walls covered with faded Bible verses and the names of former students.

Akosua found Ama trapped behind a rusted iron gate.

“I tried to escape,” Ama sobbed. “But she keeps bringing us back.”

“Who?”

Ama pointed deeper into the tunnel.

A little girl was standing there.

She looked no older than ten.

She wore the same St. Dymna uniform… but from a much older era.

“I’ve been waiting for you,” the little girl smiled.

“My name is Abena.”

Akosua frowned.

“You’re not in Evelyn’s diary.”

Abena’s smile faded.

“Because I disappeared before Evelyn was even born.”

Suddenly, the silver bell echoed through the tunnel.

DING… DING… DING…

The iron gate unlocked by itself.

Ama rushed out and hugged Akosua.

But Abena stepped backward into the darkness.

Before disappearing, she whispered one chilling sentence:

“The Headmistress knows who started Dormitory 13.”

At that exact moment, the trapdoor above burst open.

Someone was climbing down.

Holding a lantern.

It was Headmistress Nyarko.

Akosua stood frozen in the doorway.

Thirteen girls were walking toward the chapel.

And at the very back was Ama.

“AMA!” Akosua whispered.

Ama stopped.

Slowly, she turned around.

Her smile disappeared.

She raised one finger to her lips.

“Shhh…”

Then she turned and continued walking.

Akosua followed.

The chapel doors opened by themselves.

CREEEAK…

Inside, thirteen candles were arranged in a circle.

The girls walked toward them and stood around the candles.

Akosua noticed something strange.

There were only twelve girls now.

Ama was gone.

Then the chapel doors slammed shut behind Akosua.

BANG!

She rushed to the doors.

Locked.

A voice suddenly came from the altar.

“One must take her place.”

Akosua turned around.

The Woman in White was standing beside the candles.

But this time, she wasn’t alone.

Evelyn stood beside her.

Akosua stared at them.

“Evelyn… I thought you were helping me.”

Evelyn looked frightened.

“I am.”

She pointed toward the floor.

A hidden trapdoor beneath the candles had opened.

From below came a familiar voice.

“Akosua… please hurry.”

It was Ama.

Akosua stepped toward the opening.

Then Evelyn whispered:

“Whatever you do… don’t let the Woman in White come downstairs.”

The Woman in White smiled.

And stepped toward Akosua.
