I remember I had a certain good friend of mine who happened to taste fortune early in life. After his success, he spent lesser and lesser time with us as he found new friends. My first thought (which is most likely your thought already right now) was that of a common Cameroonian: "he is rich therefore he has become proud. He has forgotten his old friends. He will need us when he falls". I was really convinced that what he did was a bad thing.

But now, looking back I understand him. There is a certain level of life that you just have to distance yourself from other people. I mean, that time our stories were parties, drugs, celebrities, games and series. That was our level of thinking. This man didn't need these stories at that stage of his life. He needed stories of investments, law, inspiration and international affairs. Honestly to us such stories were useless and boring. Yet to him they were meat and cheese.

Sometimes we are quick to judge others without looking at ourselves first. It's not that when they become successful they become proud, no. But the environment that we give them can not sustain let alone advance their success. In stead of hating on their change of squads, we should be motivated to follow suit.

Schooling vs. Education--The Battle Continues

There is a vital difference between schooling and education, as Twain believed. This vital difference sometimes goes unrecognized, which creates the battle between the two. The battle is this: many people allow schooling to interfere with education, so many people are trying to slide through school with just schooling...in a way ignoring the education part. Obviously this cannot work if one desires to be successful and knowledgeable in life.

Schooling is "the big picture." Schooling includes everything that a typical student does throughout his school career--more or less, it's a routine: getting up; going to school; sitting through class; writing notes; sending text messages; eating lunch; doing homework; going to football games; screaming at basketball games; cheering the team on; going to prom; going to parties--all these school-related activities, and everything that is a triggered action of being at school is schooling.

Education is the "hands on" part of schooling or the "serious" part. It is the application of the things one is taught and the things one has learned. This is where many students go astray. It is simply not enough to go through school with just schooling, allowing education to be swept under the rug. There has to be some median, a place where the two come together and are balanced. When this happens, the battle ends, and the triumph to a successful and intellectual life begins.

Try to keep a balance between this two, don't let one suffer because of the other!

_The zero on its own may have no value, but when added to the correct side of the figure, it changes everything and increases the value of the number._
_There could be some people in your life that may seem like of no value, mostly because you have put them in the wrong position._ _Find the right position for them and you will be surprised how much value they will bring to you or to any society._
_Lesson._
*Never under-rate anyone in life*, _they are like Zeros, you simply need to find them a right place in your life and society, and they will be transformed into_ _assets of great value._
