Tragedy in Imo State
At least 12 lives were lost and 8 others injured after a tanker marked NUPENG rammed into a commuter bus carrying Jehovah’s Witness members along the Owerri–Onitsha expressway.

Victims have been taken to Ogbaku mortuary, while survivors are receiving treatment at Divine Hospital, Awo-Omamma. Police Commissioner Aboki Danjuma has called for safer driving practices and warned against reckless driving.

OtownGist Media & Entertainment as was founded in 2012, by Mr. Chinedu Hardy Nwadike when he saw the need to project entertainment activities in Imo State on the internet.

The outfit has since then won several awards for promotion of local contents and has grown to be inspiration to other online media outfits.

OtownGist Media & Entertainment is also into media PR, web designing, event management, talent discovery and artiste management with the likes of Floxy and JanexMara as evidence of raw talents it has fished out.

The outfit has also in collaboration with the Office of the SA on Entertainment, planned the first All-Female Concert, ‘Divas State Tour’, which has so far become a lasting platform where many female entertainers in Imo State have been thriving on.
