When I got pregnant with my daughter Royalty, almost everyone around me told me to abort the baby.
They said, “Who will marry you now?”
They said, “Even women without children haven’t found husbands — talk more of you, a single mom?”
They said I had made a mistake.
It almost broke me.
But I stood my ground. I knew my child wasn’t a mistake. I chose to keep her.
Even though her father wanted nothing to do with us, even though it felt like the world turned its back on me…
I fought through it.
I raised my daughter with little or no help. It wasn’t easy, but God stood by me.
And look at us now… 🙏
I’ve acted in so many movies wearing wedding gowns — sometimes I would ask myself if I’d ever wear one in real life.
Then Moc Madu came into my life.
Honestly, when we started dating, I thought it wouldn’t lead to anything serious.
But God had a different plan for me.
The day he proposed, I was in shock. I didn’t even know what to say.
Some people still tried to stop it… even some colleagues.
But guess what? He paid my bride price. We planned our wedding. And we had both traditional and white wedding!
I still feel like I’m dreaming.
To every woman out there who’s ever been told she isn’t enough…
