WOMEN OF ELELEM AUTONOMOUS COMMUNITY STAGE PEACEFUL PROTEST

The women of Elelem Autonomous Community have embarked on a peaceful protest to express their grievances over alleged fraudulent activities by certain individuals within the community, which, according to the protesters, have the potential to portray the community and the traditional institution, under the leadership of HRH Eze Godson Uzomah Eboh, Eze Eleagu III, in a negative light.

The protest represents an expression of concern and a call for accountability, transparency, and the protection of the good name and integrity of the community and its traditional institution.

We therefore encourage the organizers and leaders of the protest to remain peaceful, orderly, and law-abiding as they present their grievances through the appropriate channels.

Dialogue, truth, and due process remain essential in resolving community matters and promoting unity, peace, and sustainable development in Elelem Autonomous Community ,

For years, Omotola acted in Igbo movies as an Igbo woman. One of my favourites was Agbomma. She got so many Igbo words wrong, yet Ndị Igbo and other Igbo actresses never demanded that she be replaced.

But this same woman went to Hollywood and, instead of helping her Igbo co-star pronounce Yoruba words correctly, she went behind her back and tried to get her fired.
