There are pros and a con of falling in love with you male best friend. Let me explain.
The pros is: if he also love it's always magical. You two have this great foundation and strong bond. You can be yourself around each other without the fear of what if he finds me crazy; my take on this part is you guys already know each others flaw and abilities.
Now the one con here is: if he doesn't love you back, you wouldn't want to loose your best friend so you will conceal your feelings. You get hurt and jealous whenever you see him with another girl. At first you will be holding on but then comes the day you will think to yourself "DEAR BESTIE IF I COULD GO BACK IN TIME AND CORRECT SOMETHING I WILL DELETE THE DAY I FELL IN LOVE WITH YOU"
