DELTA STATE AGAIN!!!

Landlords residing at parkview Estate Asaba, the Delta State capital, are presently living in fear as the State government through the state task force threatened to demolish over 100 homes.
In an interview with one of them
Mr. Ejiroghene Onomine, said “I am a landowner at parkview estate(formerly known as Musa camp)
In 2018, I personally bought a piece of land from the host community 'Isieke community' after my due consultation which revealed that the land from time Immemorial belong to the community but same was leased out to the then school of agriculture now Dennis Osadebay University for agricultural purposes hence upon the expiration of the lease, the community re-entered the land and sold part of it to interested individuals while they also occur part of the land as indigenes. This land, once abandoned and prone to flooding, has been transformed with over 100 completed buildings accommodating both the indigenes, students, and other individuals who have an interest in the land.
Just recently, the Vice Chancellor and some other individuals purporting to represent Dennis Osadebay University started alleging that the land has been acquired by the Delta State Government and handed over to the university. Unfortunately, this weighty claim was not supported by any documentary proof, yet the biased committee headed by Mr. Frank Omare go about spreading misinformation through radio stations and social media whilst threatening the demolishment of our properties even when based on the facts presented during a meeting at the unity hall of the government house reveal that the land obviously belongs to the community”

He further stated, "that the lopsided constituted task force committee is just out to misleading the public and carry out their evil agenda which is why we are calling on our governor not to allow his subordinates to bring his government to bad light".
