SUNDAY IGBOHO VISITS OLOWO,…..Expresses Gratitude for Support

A renowned Yoruba Activist, Sunday IGBOHO, on Tuesday 19th of August,2025, paid a courtesy call on Olowo of Owo and Paramount Ruler of Owo Land, His Imperial majesty, Alayeluwa Oba (Dr) Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye III in his ancient Palace in Owo.

During the visit, Igboho expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the unwavering support he enjoyed in the face of repeated onslaughts by rival tribes that had left many farmers killed and maimed in recent years.

Chief Sunday Igboho, recalled the trying times when his people were under constant attack, noting that it was the encouragement, wise counsel, and from the monarch that helped them remained steadfast and survive the turbulence.

Responding, Oba Ogunoye, commended him for his resilience and leadership, describing him as a beacon of hope to his generation and those yet unborn.

He assured the visiting Activist and his people, of continued support, urging them to remain united and law-abiding despite the challenges.

The monarch further emphasized that peace and cooperation among communities remain the only path to lasting security and development.
