APOLOGY FOR MY INABILITY TO CELEBRATE MY NEW BIRTHDAY ONLINE YESTERDAY
I've lost access to my account since the 21st of June, 2022, when some wicked souls, armed robbers precisely, burgled my rented apartment in Ibadan, Nigeria. They took away 2 powerful phones, our laptop, and so many valuable properties that I cannot count.
Since then, my struggles to log in to my account due to security measures enforced on my account by Facebook before the incident have been abortive. And this is the use of Google Authenticator.
On April 16, after I was able to submit my ID cards to the Meta Pro Team, I was given a code to log in to my account, which I didn’t know was a partial entry they had given to me. Whenever I want to log in to another device apart from the one I used that code on, it blocks the proceedings, and Facebook will send me a message that someone wants to log in to your account, and we block it. I thought they were securing me; I didn’t know that it was a way to affect my business again on Facebook. The day I logged out from the only device I am able to use with the code they sent, that was the end of my getting back to my Facebook account.
I contacted Facebook more than two months ago that I wanted to create ads to celebrate my birthday by empowering digital creators, but up until now, it is different representatives that are sending different messages of resolution to me. Someone called me among them, and we met on WebEx to share my screen with the belief that the final solution would come out of it. Surely, two days after, he promised to solve the problems in 24 hours with the help of other Meta Pro Team members, but to my surprise, another team member came onboard with a completely different message, as if I just contacted them afresh. He is still requesting my phone number again, which means that the Meta Pro Team is not working as a team at all. If they were, there must be a continuity from where one team member stops.
Up until now, they have not reached the level where they can resolve the issue because the team fails to be in unity.
My suggestion to all of you fellow digital creators and Facebook users worldwide is that we need to exercise caution in the way we use all these so-called social media for our business. Let us go and get our own personal websites and start developing our businesses there. As these social media do not really recognize how important our content and business are. It’s been more than two months now; the Meta Pro Team can't proffer a solution to my account issue.
I am highly sorry for my failure to celebrate my 2025 New Birthday Celebration here on Facebook as promised.
Happy New Birthday Anniversary to myself. I really appreciate all of you who take time to drop one message or the other on my timeline, most especially those from the Philippines, USA, and Europe that have never forgotten my new birthday every year. I love you all!
Whenever the Facebook Meta Pro Team finally settles with me, we shall start interacting together again.
