THE DAY I TRIED TO ACT RICH 😭😂
So yesterday I entered a big supermarket just to “price things.”
You know that kind of confidence you wear when your account balance is not smiling? 😭
I carried basket.
I was walking majestically.
Touching things.
Reading ingredients I cannot pronounce.
One sales girl came and said,
“Ma, can I help you find anything?”
I said, “No, I’m just looking.”
(What I was actually looking for is a miracle 😭😂)
After 20 minutes of pretending,
I checked the price of cornflakes…
I quietly returned it like it offended me.
Then I saw ice cream.
My spirit said YES.
My account balance said BEHAVE YOURSELF.
Immediately my phone rang.
It was my friend.
I picked and said loudly,
“Ahhh I’m inside the supermarket, I’ll call you back. I’m busy.”
Busy doing what?
Breathing free AC 😭😂
In the end, I bought chewing gum.
Paid with serious face.
Walked out like a CEO.
Life is hard but at least we are dramatic 🤣
