ABSTRACT
Digital marketing is the term used for the targeted, measurable, and interactive marketing of products or services using digital technologies to reach the viewers and make them into our customers, not only but retaining them also. It begins to develop in the year of 1990s and began to evolve with the help of the development of technologies. This research mainly focuses on the advantages and disadvantages of digital marketing, the stages of digital marketing, and the ways it has changed the business world.

What is Digital Marketing?
Defining Digital marketing is like looking over a vast ocean because it has many definitions. For example,

It is also any marketing strategy that takes place through digital means, usually through internet-connected devices.
It can also be defined as the promotion of brands to connect with customers using the internet and other forms of digital communication.
How did Digital Marketing come into existence?
Apart from the definition, like all other inventions have their founder, digital marketing also came into existence through the first founding father of digital marketing by the name Philip Kotler. He has taught at Kellogg school of management for more than 50 years and is a pioneer in the field.
Who is a Digital Marketer?
A Digital Marketer is a person responsible for managing all the marketing campaigns that promote the company and its product. The role of a digital marketer is not a small play because they have to be a person who has equipped himself with a lot of digital marketing skills like video marketing, content marketing, data analytics, design planning, etc. A digital marketer must have the ability to persuade customers and lastly be tech-savvy (i.e a well-informed and perceptive person).
Why Digital Marketing?
Most people ask, why do we need digital marketing, why do I want to study digital marketing?
Well, many people have any reason why they do their thing the way they want but the major reason for studying and learning digital marketing is that,
(1) It makes communication with customers, either wide range or close range possible.
(2) It helps a lot in connecting with new people, from either your country or outside the country.
