OCTOBER WATCHWORD
But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. 2Cor.3.18

Topic: When the Last Trumpet Sounds
Text: Matthew 25: 14-19, 1 Thessalonians 4: 16.
3 key points
1. The Unexplored Time
* The second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ is unknown and cannot be predicted. — Matthew 25:13
* We are living in a time whose end is unknown to us.
* The time when the last trumpet will sound is unknown.
* No one knows the exact day or hour of the Lord’s return.
* Therefore, we must always be prepared and spiritually alert.
2. The Unexpected Time
* The last trumpet will sound at a time no one expects.
* We should not live carelessly or postpone our commitment to God. “Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might” because there is no work or opportunity in the grave. (Ecclesiastes 9:10)
* We must make good use of the time and opportunities God has given us.
3. The Unexcusable Time
* When the last trumpet sounds, there will be no opportunity to change our ways.
* The time to repent, serve God, and prepare is now.
* No one will have an excuse when that day comes.
* Once our earthly journey ends, we cannot go back and make changes.
