THE INHERITANCE 🌿

The Final Lesson

At the end of the will…

Mama left a message:

“To the children who loved me, you have already received my blessings.

To the ones who hated me…

What you fight for will never bring you peace.”

And truly…
It didn’t.

Court cases began.

Families stopped speaking.

Children grew apart.

But Emeka and Amara?

They moved on.

Because they understood something:

“Wealth without peace is poverty in disguise.”

And the others?
They kept fighting…

Even when there was nothing left.

🔥 EPISODE 4:

The Final Breath!😢

The day came quietly.
Mama Ngozi took her last breath in Amara’s house.

The news spread like wildfire.
Suddenly…
All the children appeared.
Crying. Shouting. Pretending.
The same ones who never cared were now the loudest mourners.

But soon…
The mourning turned into war.
Arguments started over:
Burial plans
Traditions
Who decides what

Uche shouted:
“We are the sons! We control everything!”

Emeka fired back:
“Control what? Where were you when she needed you?!”

Even neighbors began to whisper:
“This family… something is wrong.”

The burial that should bring honor…
Became a disgrace.

👉 But the real battle had not even started…

🔥 EPISODE 3:
The Daughter Who Stayed
When Mama Ngozi became weak…

Only one person stood like a pillar:
Amara.
She took her mother to her home in another city—a beautiful house she built herself.

For 10 years, Amara cared for her:
Bathed her
Fed her
Took her to hospitals
Bought her cars
Honored her like a queen.

While others?
They barely visited.

Some even said:
“Let her die so we can rest.”

But still…
Whenever they called for money—
Mama gave.

Even from her sickbed.
One evening, Mama held Amara’s hand and whispered:

“Not all children are blessings… some are lessons.”

Amara felt tears drop…

Because she knew…

Time was running out.

👉 What did Mama decide to do about her inheritance?

INHERITANCE

EPISODE 2: The Seeds of Hatred!

As the years passed, the division in the family grew like weeds in an untended farm.

Emeka and Amara continued to succeed.
They never forgot their siblings:
They gave money freely
Helped with school fees
Supported businesses.

But instead of gratitude…
They received insults.

Uche once shouted:
“You think you’re better than us because you made money first?!”

Chioma added:
“All of you are pretending! Mama has already chosen her favorites!”

Even worse…
They began to plan evil quietly.
Rumors were spread. Lies were told.
They even tried to destroy the businesses of Emeka and Amara.

Yet…
Whenever they were broke, hungry, or in trouble…
They ran back.
And still…
They were helped.

“The child who is carried on the back does not know how far the journey is.”

Mama saw everything.
But she said nothing.

Until one day…
She fell sick.
And the true faces of her children began to show.

👉 Who stayed… and who disappeared?

INHERITANCE

🔥 EPISODE 1: A Mother Made of Iron

In a quiet town in Nigeria, there lived a woman people called Mama Ngozi.

At 80 years old, she was still strong, radiant, and respected—a full-bodied, wealthy woman who had seen life from both ends of hunger and abundance.

But her story was not always like this.

Mama Ngozi raised five children alone—two sons and three daughters. No husband. No support. Just her strength.

She labored in markets, sold goods under the scorching sun, and built her life from nothing.

“A mother’s back may bend,” she would say,
“but it never breaks for her children.”

She trained them in good schools.
She bought lands for them.
She paid rents.
She fed their families—even when they were grown.

Among the children:
The first son (Emeka) and second daughter (Amara) rose early in life.
They worked hard, became successful, bought their own cars, and built houses with their own money.

But instead of peace…
Jealousy was born.

The second son (Uche) and first daughter (Chioma) carried bitterness in their hearts.

They whispered:
“Mama loves Emeka too much…”
“Everything is for Amara…”

Yet, these same children stretched their hands daily to collect money, food, and favors.
And Mama?
She kept giving.

Because a mother’s heart does not count offenses.

But deep inside…
Something was breaking.

One day, a fight broke out in the family compound… and words were spoken that could never be taken back.

👉 What did they say to their own mother?

Episode 5:

The Healing and the Lesson.

The village fell into deep silence after Nkem’s confession.
Punishment was expected.

But Adaeze stepped forward.

Her voice was weak, but steady.

“I forgive her.”

The elders were stunned.

“Why?” one asked.

Adaeze replied:

“Because hatred will only grow another snake.”
The diviner prepared cleansing rites.
Nkem was made to fetch water from the sacred stream at dawn for seven days. She washed Adaeze’s wounds with humility, tears falling into the water.

On the seventh day, Adaeze’s skin began to heal.

Slowly, her beauty returned.

But something had changed—both sisters were no longer the same.

Nkem, once consumed by envy, now walked with bowed head and quiet strength.

The snake never returned.

And the elders declared:

“A jealous sister is more dangerous than a snake…
But a repentant heart is stronger than both.”

MORAL LESSON
Jealousy destroys not only its target but also the one who carries it. True strength lies in love, truth, and the courage to change.

Episode 4:

The Journey to Redemption

Desperate, Nkem went to the village diviner.
After casting cowries, the diviner spoke:

“The wound you caused can only be healed by truth.”
“You must confess.”
Nkem shook her head. “They will hate me.”

The diviner replied:

“Better to be hated and free than loved and cursed.”
Meanwhile, Adaeze’s condition worsened.
Yet she still prayed:

“Whoever has wronged me, may their heart find peace.”

Those words pierced Nkem like a spear.

That night, the snake returned—this time inside her room.

It coiled around her leg.

Nkem screamed.

“I will confess! I will make it right!”

The snake loosened its grip and disappeared.

Morning came.

The entire village gathered.

With trembling lips, Nkem stepped forward.

“I did it,” she said.

Gasps filled the air.

Mama Ijeoma wept.

Adaeze stared in silence.

The truth had been spoken—but would forgiveness follow?

To be continued…
