A Recap of God’s Goodness

It was this time last year when my family hosted one of the most memorable birthdays I’ve ever had. I remember receiving a beautiful money bouquet, and in that moment, I made a statement I didn’t even fully understand the weight of. I said, “At least let me enjoy this moment before I die.”

I was heavily pregnant then—seven months along—and my pregnancy journey was a terrifying one. Fear tried to take over my thoughts. The enemy kept whispering doubts and planting worry in my heart.
But mercy said NO.

God stepped in where fear tried to rule. He preserved my life, carried me through the journey, and brought me safely to this day. Today, I stand as a living testimony of His mercy, faithfulness, and unfailing love.
I am grateful—deeply grateful—to see this day again. 🙏✨

Hello, I’d love to share a lesson that deeply impacted my parenting journey.
Being a good parent is not only about providing and protecting.
It’s also about helping our children understand who they are and where they come from.
Last Christmas, we traveled and stayed longer than usual. During that time, my children spent quality moments with their cousins, uncles, and aunts, attended village events, and experienced community life beyond our home.
What I noticed was powerful:
They didn’t just enjoy themselves — they felt a sense of belonging.
It reminded me that children who know their roots grow with stronger identity, confidence, and stability. When children understand their background, culture, and family history, they are less likely to feel lost as they grow.
As parents, we must be intentional about exposing our children to family, culture, and community—not just comfort.
