When I was still struggling in the industry, I wrote a script and begged a producer to let me shoot it. They said yes, but when I got to the set, a senior crew member looked at me and said, ā€œWho is this one? She doesnā€™t look like a star.ā€ He tried to send me away like I didnā€™t belong.

I stood my ground and told him, ā€œEven if I donā€™t look like a star now, one day youā€™ll watch me on the big screen and remember this face.ā€ That moment hurt, but it also gave me courage. The movie didnā€™t make me famous, but it gave me the strength to keep going.

Now, I write, produce, and act in my own films. Iā€™ve come a long way. No one can send me away anymore. Iā€™ve earned my place.

At 20 years old, I became a mother. The moment the man responsible heard I was pregnant, he disappeared. He switched off his phone and cut off all contact. I heard from others that he denied the pregnancy completely. I cried, I begged, I waited, but he never came back. I was left alone to carry the pain, shame, and responsibility. I raised Royalty with my two hands, through sweat, tears, and prayers. I fought through those dark days when I didnā€™t even know how Iā€™d survive.

One day, I posted her picture online, just a simple post from a proud mother. That was when he came out in the comment section claiming her like he had been there from day one. My heart broke all over again. I blocked him, and I moved on.

Then I met Moc. I told him I had a child, and he didnā€™t even flinch. He loved her like his own. The way he cares for her, plays with her, protects her, you would never know sheā€™s not his biological daughter.

God, I am grateful. I truly can't ask for more.
