The Nigerian Army has apprehended a notorious commander of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, and its armed wing, the Eastern Security Network, identified as Ifeanyi Eze Okorienta, popularly known as Gentle de Yahoo. Okorienta was captured in his hideout at Aku-Ihube, Okigwe Local Government Area of Imo State, during a joint operation conducted by troops of the 34 Artillery Brigade in collaboration with other security agencies. A statement by the Nigerian Army said the raid led to the recovery of an English pistol, 120 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition, 25 rounds of 7.62mm NATO, a cartridge, six mobile phones, military and police uniforms, as well as a German flag. Military sources described the arrest as a “major relief for residents” of Imo State, who have endured months of attacks, kidnappings, and extortion allegedly orchestrated by Gentle de Yahoo and his gang.

Popular Enugu Auto Dealer Unalived During Campus Party at UNN

Tragedy struck at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, on Friday night when Power_Autos was k!lled during a bonfire event.

The incident began with a minor car accident involving Power_Autos and another vehicle. Despite initial intervention by university security, the situation turned deadly when Power_Autos was attacked by a group of individuals, including Daddy_Yo, also known as Onyeka.

The perpetrators were later arrested and are currently being held at the state CID in Enugu.

Ellison overtakes Musk as world’s richest man

Oracle co-founder, Larry Ellison, has toppled Elon Musk to become the world’s richest person, ending the Tesla boss’s nearly year-long reign at the top of the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.

Bloomberg reports that Ellison’s fortune surged by a record $101bn on Wednesday after Oracle reported quarterly results that beat expectations and signalled further growth in its cloud business.

The increase lifted his wealth to $393bn, putting him ahead of Musk, whose net worth now stands at $385bn.

This marks a turning point in Musk's reign as the king of money.
